    EAC pseudowavelanding is using a model altering (lifting) and frame specific momentum altering aerial while just under a platform having jumped (DJ or FH). The model changes such that the character is boosted above the platform then drops as a result of the frame specificity. Because this happens so early in the move it falls before the RAbit16 is set, thus not incurring aerial landing lag (ie autocanceling). EAC stands for early autocancel. Its referred to as pseudo wavelanding because of the similarity in the two techniques in regards to transitioning from air to platform earlier than would normally be possible. It acts as a very situation sort of DJC if you'd rather think of it that way but that doesn't fit with the nomenclature because it doesn't have to be a double jump. However this is generally the case.

    The technique can also be performed from the ledge onto the stage notably on Yoshi's story where its maaaaaad easy and lots more characters have ways to do it.
