But yeah, the side story wasn't too bad. It kind of was confusing though.

I don't like the restriction in the game when it blatantly tells me "By the way you should do these things they will give you good rewards in the end like stronger personas but some things will be basically useless and only used as timesinks or grinding means." I liked getting up my Social Links and seeing extra tidbits and whatnot, but what Persona 4 does that Persona 3 doesn't is force you to make a choice based on the schedule I was talking about. You can't selectively choose what you're going to do on a given day. Example, you have Basketball or Music practice on certain days, those will basically eat up your time for the whole day and then you miss out on anything that was going on then. I suppose it doesn't matter because you'll have a long time to get to those things, but before you know it you'll be juggling a lot of things at once.

I feel ya on that one. P4 has a ton to offer but I feel like it's limitations is purely on how the game is played out, even if the game has 2000 things to offer you're only going to end up doing 1000 of them simply because you're restricted. It's a real pain when games do that, it's like you were forced to play on a schedule and if you didn't play within the game's rules you were ****ed anyways. P3 had an openness to it and I didn't feel like I was forced to do anything, of course there were more important days than others but never did I go "Oh great I gotta do that temporary job or schmooze that lady over for my social links when can I just fight shadows?"

She looked different for some reason and I didn't know the Japanese name for it. I've read a bit of the manga and need to get more of them.

I actually love Future Diary.

Brosuke will always be bro of the year all years but Junpei is just freaking hilarious and he was one of more sensible characters in The Answer.

You should, It's still as good as ever but I feel like transitioning back and forth from P3/P4 you notice the significant differences from them. I like P3 more simply because of the characters and OST, P4 is good but nothing beats giraffe neck Junpei and Mitsuru.

Not that it was too heavy on the latter, but the music was absolutely incredible for a VN and pushes it up a few pegs in my book. And yeah, Kirimiya was terrible.
