Yeah I've dealt with that too. The trick is attacking a little bit before you need to because it's a little delayed.

Well like I said, I don't really know the moves for him. Notice the "I think" by it. I just know that it's a move that powers up a stat. I just assumed that it was Calm Mind because it was Psychic and it powers up stats.
