Whilst I do not follow much on US soccer or football as we call it here in my country, but this old video Taylor Twellman's rant when the US team failed to qualify for the 2018 World Cup still holds up regarding to the situation of the scenes within US soccer going on today.

Well, this could be one way of possibly revitalising the Dead Rising franchise.

Whilst the report is not true, it is still sad to see what became of a UK video gaming retailer which I used to go to very often back during the day.

There was even a time when I do recall that there were a number of video game retailers within my area from Electronic Boutique, Gamestation and even Toys R' Us supplied video games before they all went.

Nowadays, I tend to shop and purchase video games either online or head to cEX, a store that sells second hand games.

Maybe Marvel Comics and Capcom (with Udon Entertainment) should consider doing a comic book special featuring Spider-Man and Darkstalkers' Morrigan Aensland considering how the two had been trending a lot on the Internet lately.

Ever since the reveal of the Marvel Vs Capcom: Fighting Collection Arcade, there had been some discussions on what other fighting game collections could be done. Here are some of my ideas:

Well that is a shame. However, I do hope that Legendary Pictures and Capcom can find a director who not only understands and respects the source material, but someone who can direct.

I guess this is why review bombers are not to be taken seriously especially since their agenda had been exposed by posting on the wrong show.

With the recent Capcom Super Election polls especially with the question of which Capcom games audiences would like to see a sequel, here are some of my thoughts on what Capcom could potentially do with some of their dormant franchises:

Dino Crisis - This game had been on many fans radar for quite a while which is why it topped the poll of audiences wanting a sequel. Personally, I think a great way of rejuvenating the Dino Crisis franchise is to maybe follow suit of the Resident Evil reboots for the first and second games.

Darkstalkers - Although this was the fifth in the polls, Darkstalkers had been a franchise in which many fans like myself had long waited for many many years. With the success of Street Fighter 6, the Darkstalkers franchise could very well be something that Capcom's fighting game department could look in to if they really want to expand their fighting game library.

Ace Attorney - Although the series had not seen a new game since the Spirit of Justice, I do hope that Capcom will not only look in to making a new entry within the franchise, but maybe consider doing a HD versions of Ace Attorney: Investigations 1 & 2?

Dead Rising - Even though Dead Rising was not within the top ten poll, I do think that if Dead Rising were to have a new entry, I would prefer it if they consider a reboot by going back to what made the franchise so special in the first place.

I really do hope that Legendary Picture's upcoming Street Fighter film does not fall into the mistakes that Mortal Kombat (2021) did.

Since Mai and Terry reveals as guest characters for the upcoming second season for Street Fighter 6, there have been a number of discussions online about the inclusions of guest characters.

I grew accustomed to guest characters since Legend of Zelda's Link was a an exclusive guest character back during SoulCalibur II (Gamecube) and then Solid Snake and Sonic within Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Whilst I can understand that there are arguments on both sides for the inclusion of guest characters, but as I stated I am perfectly fine with their inclusion as long as they make sense.

Just going to give my thoughts on the recent Street Fighter 6 season two character DLCs:

I was pretty much aware that in an interview with Famitsu, Takayuki Nakayama did state that there would be unexpected characters within the second season. But overall, it was a great surprise to see both Terry and Mai from Fatal Fury as guest characters as well as the returns of Elena and M. Bison.

But what I noticed from the release schedule is that Elena is set for a Spring 2025 release date whilst Mai is set for a Winter 2025 release date which is highly unusual not to have a new character within the Summer or Autumn periods unless there is something planned that no-one is aware of.

Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui confirmed as part of Street Fighter 6's second season!?!

I have been seeing someone doing a what if scenarios with the Power Rangers franchise, here is mine:

• What if Rocky became the Blue Turbo ranger instead of Justin.
• What if Power Rangers Ninja Storm had a team up with Power Rangers Wild Force.
• What if Uchu Sentai Kyuranger had been adapted over Power Rangers Cosmic Fury.

Other than James Gunn, I'm glad to see Anson Mount went straight ahead to debunk false claims made by a clickbait account.

Really Sony Pictures?

It is really sad to see a load of toxic reaction and remarks within the Britain's Got Talent Facebook page comments section when it comes to foreign acts competing.

"Kraven moved to Christmas because we're excited about it and Christmas is the best release period there is, when you get people with time to go back to the movies over and over again. That was a real reflection of how the studio felt about the movie. We're really excited. But that's a great move that reflects just the feeling about the movie."

Are Sony not acknowledging that Kraven the Hunter will face stiff competition against Sonic the Hedgehog 3, Mufasa: The Lion King and the new Lord of the Rings film in the December slot?

It's hardly been a month and yet they are very quick to announce a digital release for the Fall Guy film.

I wonder what exactly went wrong for the film?

Remember a time when Cole and Dylan Sprouse aka Cody and Zack Martin of the Suite Life fame promoting Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver:

It has been almost over a year since the last trailer for Pragmata had been shown. I wonder if there will be new information for this game at next month's Summer Game Fest?

It is a shame to see Silk no longer going forward at Amazon, it will be interesting to see who will Sony shop the Silk franchise to which potential buyer.

Terrible news to hear that voice actress Rachael Lillis is currently battling with cancer. Hopefully she can get all the care and treatment she needs.

Lillis is very much well known for voice work as Misty in the Pokemon anime series and also as Jigglypuff for the Super Smash Bros series.

Will be interesting to see which games Square-Enix plans to bring for Nintendo consoles.

After what Matt Booty statement about the need for "smaller games that give us prestige and awards," Tango Gameworks decided to throw a shade back at them.

This did not age well.

With the announcement of the Nintendo Switch's successor, I guess it is only a matter of time when the next Smash game will be revealed.

I've been looking at this one particular Youtube channel which usually spews out a load of lies especially on the Deadpool & Wolverine claims, browsed through the comment section and I am beyond baffled to see how gullible they believed everything he said when in fact it is not true and feels more like something he conjured up without providing a single shred of proof and evidence to back up what he is stating.

Delayed once again. At this stage, Sony may as well give up on creating their Spider-Man centric universe.

Having watched the first three episodes of the anime "Go Go Loser Rangers", it almost feels like watching Super Sentai mixed in with The Boys.

Social media now in an argument to whether a 7/10 score is considered good or bad.

"Do you want to build a snowman?"

"Yes, but I can't!"

Why do I have a bad feeling about this?

I wouldn't mind having a slice of "Knuckle's Chicken Sandwich."

Following on from what I read on Reddit, here is the question:

"Do you prefer when DLC packs are secretive about who will be releasing, or do you prefer knowing everyone who will be in the pack before buying it?"

For me, I don't have much of a preference.

However if it were something for Smash Bros, then I would prefer keeping it secretive as I'm sure there will be a lot of anticipation to keep the hype going amongst fans to keep guessing who will be in.

I'm aware that Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat both previously revealed which characters will be involved within their latest DLC pack in past games, but at least it will give them something for fans to anticipate from a different perspective such as the gameplay to see if what's been offered is worth it for them.
