    Social media reactions and review embargo for Sony Entertainment Pictures' Madame Web will be lifted a day before the film comes out in theatres.

    I get the feeling this may not bode well at all for Madame Web although that may depend on the reviews.

    Going back to children's tv shows that I watched back at my time and one of these was "It's a Mystery" that once aired back on CITV. It was a show that usually presenters tell different stories that will either be weird, strange, spooky or even fascinate the viewer in which these mysteries either ends in being solved or unsolved.

    Here is an example of a story based upon the "Tunbridge Wells time slip."

    Having watched today's first episode of the Apprentice UK, what an earth were the candidates thinking of putting apple crumble on top of a fishcake? I wonder what would Gordon Ramsay will say if he sees this?

    The thing I always find funny about Alan Sugar is how he goes on and on about how he's this fantastic business acumen and he's the second coming of Christ and whatnot, but he claims he started his business out of the back of a van and says you should do the same, despite the fact that here in the glorious United Kingdom, you would be fined and charged for lacking a license

    Aloy, Ellie, and Atreus are locks, but TLOU will probably pretend everything after the first game doesn't exist. Astro Bot and the cut characters (Abe, Dart, Ryu, Tombi) are like a 99.99% chance. Crash, Lara, and Spyro feel like near-gaurantees, but FF7 and Ressie characters I'm a bit unsure on. Bugsnax feels like the most likely indie, and Vib-Ribbon feels like the most likely retro (not including the cut DLC). If Crash and Cloud get in, they'll probably bring a second rep each, most likely Cortex and Sephiroth. Spider-Man and Miles Morales are 50-50, wouldn't be surprised if Miles was based on Spider-Verse as a sort of character-is-connected-design-isn't 80s-TMNT-in-NASB thing. Tony Hawk is less likely than Spidey, but still feels very possible if they're going to add characters from outside of gaming.

    At the end of the day, its Super Mario Bros, one of the biggest and well-known and iconic franchises within the video game industry which is not a surprise that the film was a success regardless of whether it was good or not.

    Should you trust RT critics or the audience scores? You should just go and watch the film and decide for yourself whether it meets your expectations or not.

    If there is DLC content that interests me, then I'll consider making a purchase.

    If there is DLC content that does not interest me, then I won't make a purchase.

    Those are the two "options" I have when it comes to what sort of DLC content I want to purchase because at the end of the day, it is my own decision, not theirs to decide.

    That is all I am going to say.

    Whilst I am aware that people have different preferences when they go to watch a film or going to the cinema, I actually beg to differ in regards to what this poster stated.

    I've watched a ton of Marvel movies and I generally don't watch them just for the action, but also for the plot to see how well every aspect is structured.

    Having a good plot usually tells you what happens throughout the story and also acts as a mechanism that can help with building up their characters. Without a good plot, people will not have a general idea of what is going on and make them care less about the character's development.

    I did watched the entire Tekken 8 story on Youtube in which I will give my thoughts in a later post.

    Agreed, it's not like plot and action are mutually exclusive.

    There are plenty of movies with great action scenes and adequate plots. I think if you're going to watch an action movie, you should have reasonable expectations about the writing quality but I'm tired of this "just shut off your brain" excuse for criticism.

    Tekken also has a pretty long ongoing story so of course returning fans would want a satisfactory story.

    The best Marvel movies are those that link action and the story in a such an immaculate way that, for a moment, you forget it's a movie.

    Infinity War is still the best example of action and writing in the MCU. Most of the forgettable Marvel stuff tends to be those you turn your brain off in.

    So apparently in an old article, there were plans to make a film adaptation of the SoulCalibur series with its synopsis as:

    "The story revolves around two warriors who are chosen by Shaolin monks to recover and destroy a powerful sword, Soul Edge, that has fallen into the hands of an evil prince who plans to use it to open the gates of hell and destroy the world."


    Just like the usual with studios not following the source material nor even consulting with the producers of the video game, this would had been an absolute disaster just like the Tekken live action film. But at least the film was canned in the end.

    To be honest, I'm not entirely too surprised in regards to the early box office predictions for Madame Web (which is tracking even lower than Morbius) considering that Sony Entertainment Pictures hasn't done much marketing on the film.

    Happy 25th anniversary to Super Smash Bros. 64. It was one of my most anticipated games for the Nintendo 64 back in the day.

    Now, when are Nintendo going to put this game up for the Nintendo Switch Online?

    I do have a lot of expectations for Benson and Moorhead considering that they did a brilliant job for direction of the second season of Loki. Hopefully they can keep their momentum going for the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again series.

    It is not often that I had to go on a rant about something but to reiterate someone's response to my comment on Youtube:

    "u talked about results in ur post to support ur arguments, which shows that u don't really understand football at all. Results do not matter."

    I just feel that this part of the comment is completely wrong. Yes, I did mentioned the importance of results as part of my arguments as I believe that any other sports team in whatever discipline will know that results do matter to them as this will give them answers on what should be focused and improved upon as their next target.

    But to say that I don't understand football at all is beyond laughable to me. I've been following the sport ever since I've been a long time Manchester United supporter. I've seen them play at their best and I've seen them play at their worst. This is why I used results to support my argument from above, because all clubs and managers will want to analyse their strengths and weaknesses upon the performances in order to achieve better results.

    Watched the first 6 episodes of Netflix's "Beef" which is really good especially with Steven Yeun and Ali Wong's performances in which I understand why they won best supporting actor and actress during the Golden Globes awards.

    I think bringing in Jake Schrier and Lee Sung Jin (director and writer of "Beef") are decent choices to direct and write the upcoming Marvel Studios' "Thunderbolts" film. It is a shame that Steven Yeun who was originally casted as Sentry/Robert Reynolds had to pull out of the role due to scheduling conflicts and he would had been good in the role.

    Watching some old children's gameshows back in the day on Youtube and there were two questions that were asked had me baffled to the answers at the time:

    1. The Sheriff of Nottingham was the enemy of which legendary outlaw? He answered "Zorro."

    2. Nigeria, Morocco and Zimbabwe are countries on which continent? She answered "Antarctica."

    As 2023 almost draws to a close within a few days, here are my best and worst films of this year:

    Best movie of 2023: Barbie
    Best animated movie of 2023: Between the Super Mario Bros. the Movie and the Elementals.
    Disappointing movie of 2023: The Flash

    Best TV show/series of 2023: Loki (Season 2)
    Worst TV show/series of 2023: The Idol (HBO)

    E3 had so many moments, but then again there were many bad moments just like these:


    Will be interesting to see what will be in store for the video game industry next year, but it is going to be strange that E3 is no longer happening.

    Since SEGA revealed a number of titles that they are revisiting and achieving a reboot/revival, if Capcom decides to do a similar path to SEGA, here are some titles that I predict could see potentially getting a reboot/revival:

    1. Darkstalkers
    2. Dead Rising
    3. Dino Crisis
    4. Breath of Fire
    5. Final Fight
    6. Onimusha
    7. Okami
    8. Power Stone

    Still glad to see SEGA giving some of their forgotten franchises a reboot with the likes of Crazy Taxi, Golden Axe, Jet Set Radio etc.

    Think this maybe something Capcom could possibly take notes and look to see which franchises needs a reboot.

    Maybe they should rename Jonathan Majors' character from "He who remains" to "He who no longer remains."

    Other than that what I will say about the Jonathan Majors case is that he was someone who was about to head into stardom, only to see it vanish after being given the guilty verdict.

    Very sad to hear that E3 is no longer happening. But for an event that ran more than two decades, there certainly a load of good, bad and special moments within the video gaming industry.

    But then again, I guess a lot of aspects made an impact whether the times have changed where direct and digital presentations exist and events like E3 are no longer needed as the main spotlight.

    Just managed to finish watching "The Marvels" and whilst the film does have certain issues in terms of its pacing, parts of the story and its villain could had been better, it does have some great moments especially from Kamala Khan which was carried out by a charismatic performance by Iman Vellani.

    Overall Rating: 7/10

    Having already watched the first two Maze Runner films directed by Wes Ball who is going to direct the upcoming Legend of Zelda live action film in which I can see what elements could be taken in terms of direction and tone.

    Whilst I'm still not overly optimistic about having Avi Arad on board as producer, I do hope Nintendo can perhaps find someone who can write a decent script and plot.

    The Coyote Vs Acme film apparently had a positive test screening and already completed before it got shelved for tax write offs in a similar fashion to what happened last year with Batgirl and the Scoob sequel.

    This feels like another wasted opportunity that really makes me question WB and David Zaslav's decisions further.
