HM is very good (I've only rad manga, haven't watched anime), and Chiba is hardcore badass.

I read the first two or three chapters of the manga when it was relatively new, then I got lazy and stopped reading it lol. The anime is good, but lacks certain developments of the characters. When I finished it, I went back and started reading the manga again lol. Its ongoing, whereas the show randomly cuts off at a particular point of the story...I hate how they do that, but I guess its the way of the business with these "one shot" shows .

...And yeah Chiba is cool, she kinda grew on me because she starts off as such a stereotypical emo character, but she changes quite a bit. Plus, she's the only negative(ish) character and they need her for balance lol.
