Couple of cool things about this tournament.

• The Venue is a Hotel. You can book your rooms and be able to get a good nights rest and wake up, come downstairs and play.
• It is a two day event. We will do pools, and there will be plenty of time for friendlies as well.
• More stream time!

Being an SSB player in New York is the BEST! I get to attend all of the smash events held in Jersey without carrying the negative stigma that comes with actually living there!

This event seems sick! I'll be there for sure!

quarter system typically ends in early-mid june (june 12th this year for stanford)

yeah stanford and its only-somewhat-better-academically-speaking counterpart in the midwest are both on the quarter system, AKA the trimester system, which means we start late (think like late september/early october) and go late (mid june)

This sounds like a great tournament though (TBH we should come out stronger than we did at Apex--pools? Summer? two days instead of half a day?) so if people go I'll probably end up saying **** school.

I live like 30 min from this AND Morristown has a pretty good bar scene, just beneath Hoboken IMO.

maybe it's cuz i'm a poor college student but i'm not a big fan of the hoboken bar scene

i mean, the bars around rutgers are dirt cheap - seldom do i pay anything more than 3 dollars for a mix or a beer
so anytime i go somewhere else i'm like 5.50 FOR A ****ING YUENGLING?!

Morristown is cheaper than Hoboken, but not sure about $3 drinks on a weekend night. Time to stock up at the hotel.

If I don't crash with somebody at the hotel Friday night, I may be able to house some people at my place that night.
