I think I'll do poorly but this is what happens when you drop a main for a new one.

I still have Bowser/Lucina/Marth as backup and likely will play them early in the tournament.

MAYBE

I'll play Zelda at some point too.

*Fingers crossed that you get bodied by a little Mac* :4dedede:
I dislike that character >:[

My Marth amiibo just reads my inputs and acts perfectly to the point where it's 3 stocked me before.

It just KO's me at 50% casually.

Yeah it certainly is quite an "experience" to be there.

Never has there ever been a more appropriate place to caution with "Tread carefully."

It's dangerous to go alone!

The work the regulars (I post there only on occasion) have done for Link's metagame research is nice and the thread organization is appreciable though.~

WTF. That is all I can say... Just WTF. I know we're human, we make mistakes, and all, but seriously, WTF? It takes a lot of get me riled up unless I'm purposely making myself enraged, but really? Whatever. I leave it at that...

Maybe Link's Triforce of Courage is more of a Triforce of Rage or maybe there's a reason why no Link has ever been over the age of 18. The closest we got was Skyward Sword Link who was 17... and a half. :p

Just lost to CPU Zelda. I now need to journey into mountains to purify my body and reconsider my life.
I wish I could save replays of classic mode, you should've seen some of the crap that happened to me yesterday.

[1/15/2015 6:46:58 PM] Lavani: oh my god
[1/15/2015 6:47:12 PM] Lavani: so I was holding onto the ledge in classic as falco while robin and yoshi were standing out of ledge attack reach
[1/15/2015 6:47:30 PM] Lavani: suddenly yoshi did a runoff ledge trump, robin jumped off and elwind spiked me, then did the "Let's tip the scales!" taunt afterward
[1/15/2015 6:47:32 PM] Lavani: what the ****
[1/15/2015 6:47:48 PM] Lavani: FOR BRIEF MOMENTS
[1/15/2015 6:47:51 PM] Lavani: THE AI JUST BECOMES BRILLIANT

I remember playing pre-wiimmfi Basic Brawl with a friend one time. I was using Marth and we had a trolly R.O.B. in the room who managed to get a KO off of me, then proceeded to run away the rest of the match. Best part was, we were on Temple. Yay.
Come next match, I go Zelda and trash their Yoshi on Green Hill Zone, who was still trying to run. +1 for me, vengeful appetite sated.
Next match pt. 2, the guy rage-MKs, and I trash him again with Pikachu, effectively KO'ing him twice under one minute. He then sat on one side of Smashville facing the edge, while I danced around my friend and taunted for the rest of the match.

He didn't move for at least seven matches after. Then he started getting his steam back, so my friend fought him and I don't remember after that. T'was a good night.

/deardiary?
I seem to remember this. Was I the one with you? That, or I just remember you telling me about it.

Have you guys ever been insulted through the mic feature in Smash 4? I don't think I've ever heard anything beyond static grumbling.
As a general rule I avoid mic features unless I know the person in real life.

Did not know you were a fellow sis, my bad :p I myself have not experienced any immaturity from guys irl. They've been pretty chill to me, and I've loved the offline scene so far.

And props to you for sticking with Rosie. Yeah, don't let other people tell you what you can and can't use. Top tier characters will always get haters, so it's inevitable. Rosie is also one of those chars I would like to understand more, but she definitely has a bit of a learning curve. I feel like she has a lot to be discovered in her meta.

Wifi Brawl Zeldas did too. I feel ya
It's no problem, I've mistaken some girls for guys on here, too. I just look at their profiles if I'm not sure. c:
I'm not too experienced in the offline scene outside of friend circles, though with what I hear, I wouldn't quite mind it. It's just finding the time aside from work that's the difficult part.

There is a learning curve, since she has some interesting options to work with. I've been learning to work with her nair and desyncing aerials, for example, and watching professional players is something that I feel helps when it comes to understanding what does and doesn't work with a character.

Also, beating up bad Zeldas with Zelda in Basic Brawl was one of the best things. Another deardiary, I was with another friend one time (@ TriforceOfWisdom TriforceOfWisdom ), and we were both Zelda with this random Zelda who thought she was something hot.
Temple again, I'm not sure what happened at first? The Zelda kept trying to use Din's fire against me, but I'm below her, and she didn't seem to know how to aim it. Finally walks over and tries to kick me, so we're fighting, and I end up getting a smash ball.
I'm standing on the middle platform all the way to the right of the stage, and she runs to the left side on top of that little gazebo. Starts down taunting at me, as if to say "You can't hit me you'll never get me :awesome:"

I turn around.
"Wanna bet?"
Headshot.

She didn't move after that.

You pretty much just beat everyone up. And me. :c

Oh yeah, most of us from the Brawl Online General Discussion/Social/Thing are a bunch of taunt party casuals, minus the taunting. We would all find each other just to mess around with random people. My version of fun.

And that green G&W was funny, taunting everytime he'd launch someone. Admirable persistence through multiple losses, too.

My favorite part in Basic Brawl was turning on green shells, setting them to high, and going Falco or some other character that could do the infinite jump with the shell trick. And I'd try and do that all underneath the stage, or way above, and all that. I even tried staying airborne during the entire stage transitions of Rainbow Cruise.

Good times...

Too bad I can't stand items. Like, I haven't even played one 'For Fun' match in Smash 4 yet lol
