What are some weird//funny times you've had a run-in with the law? Not that I'm encouraging this kind of behavior; this is more about zany stories :p

Mine: Some summers ago, I was stargazing with my older cousin and a few of his friends on top of his high school roof. Now, this was a small town, and apparently the police have little to do, but the cops came and arrested us. We spent a few hours in jail because roof stargazing was illegal. It was very memorable for me in a weird way.

Just last week, my friends Danny and Mark were having us up to their apartment.

Derek another one of our friends took the keys and went to meet his girlfriend.

During this time 2 more people arrived and had to hop through 2 gardens to get to the back of the apartment where they live.

Someone must have seen them come through the gardens and called the cops because 10 mins after they arrived 10 cops showed up in the back garden searching for a burgular.

We explained to them what happened and they were fine.

We did hear the cop say down the radio "We don't need that chopper anymore" xD

I've had other run in's but I'm not gonna post them because it will break rules. :urg:

I used to have a fire pit in my back yard...my friend thought itd be a good idea to throw leaves in it, which created a crapton of smoke.
Well, our neighborhood is in the middle of an urban area, so people saw the smoke and called 911 to make sure there wasn't a fire. Luckily, no fire engines came, but we did have an officer come to make sure the house wasn't dead.

My freshman year of high school, I was taken out of my last class of the day by one of the Security Guards. He took me to a room and he was like "Son, we have reason to believe that you were the one who threw the fireworks in the Main Hall after school today". I actually had to keep myself from laughing, but I knew he was totally serious. First of all, their reasoning was because I didn't flinch when they went off. In the security tape, I had my Ipod in walking to my school bus, and had not heard the blast until I saw everyone running.
Second of all, at that time, you couldn't BUY fireworks in North Carolina legally.
Basicailly, the guy tried to "all your base" me and I was like "**** YEAH SEAKING" and ub3r pwn3d his case on me.

Wherever you want me to be... If you're female.
This was from when I was younger...

My father happens to share the same name as a registered terrorist. Complimentary strip search at Philly international woot! (I got one too... ugh).

A bunch of us were told to put our shirts back on for "public indecency" at a football game once. I wonder if he was just ****ing around with us (though you could say one of my male friends has breasts).

I also got "caught shoplifting" at a mall. It was just so **** cold in the store that I folded my arms over the stuff I was trying to buy. Really though... I was carrying quite a load TOWARDS the cashier. They "let me go" since I paid for it. >_>

Not the law, but I had a memorable run in with my campus security. I was drunk one night and walking around with my friend. My friend decided to pull out this stupid useless sign from the ground that required shaking because it was pretty big. He pulled it out and put it on the ground, there seemed to be no one around in the area. Then we were walking around and the security started flashing their lights at us. We got nervous and started running behind buildings and trees and all sorts of things. Finally they cornered us and got us. They told us they saw what we did, and weren't that upset and probably would have made us dig it back in. But because we ran away like criminals we got in trouble. Had to pay a couple of fines for that. It was a lesson learned.

I once got stopped for jogging down the street.

I was going to the takeaway but couldn't be arsed walking the last 30 seconds when I could jog it and get there faster. I passed two police officers and they stopped me and asked me what I was doing, to which I pointed to the takeaway they were standing in front of and said "Getting a kebab".

I've never had a run in with the law, but a good friend of mine has. Police came to his house equipped with a search warrant because he was under suspicion of having housed an armed felon.

When I first read that I thought it said "armed falcon."

But anyway I've mostly gotten in trouble for fireworks. I was with my cousins one time at one of their friends' house, and we were driving his go kart and shooting off fireworks and his neighbors were getting pissed at the noise and someone 'accidentally' drove the go kart on their lawn, so they called the cops and made us stop shooting off fireworks.

When I was 9, the police almost came to arrest me because I was "disturbing the peace". They were like super srs on the phone and acting all hard until my mum told them she was a solicitor, so they shut the hell up. Man all I did was prank call some ***** anyway. D:

Oh and the other times they've all been related to actual crimes so I won't go into them, but don't worry I got away with everything.

Haha great tales :)

I was at school and apparently some people had entered posing as students and staff, maybe to nick a few things who knows...anyways at the time I was oblivious too this, had just gotten a pass too the toilets. Just finishing up & washing my hands when a cop walked pass, double taked and went into full interrogation mode asking me what I was doing and where I'd been.
Stunned and confused I simply pointed at the toilet stall xD

Luckily a teacher came and everything checked out

I'm a pure girl
4th grade
Smart kid.
Good grades.
Teach was gone for half the year, she had a baby.
Teacher shows up, applauds me for my grades, singles me out.
I hated the attention, slacked off.
Felt like teachers used their students to obtain praise for themselves.
Teacher sends me to the princaples office to address me not doing any homework for the past 5 weeks.
On the way there, I see the door, I run.
Climbed up a really tall, steep hill covered in vines, sat there for a while.
Got bored, decided I would see if I could walk to the city, find something to do.
Cops were looking for me.
One spotted me, yelled, I ran towards the electric power plant because it was the only place I could see and imagine hiding in
Caught me, handcuffed me, brought me back
Dad didn't "press charges" or whatever the cop had asked of him.

5th grade, principal tells my teacher what happened, she smiles, looks at me and says
"So he's a runner!"

I was a weird kid.

Wait, the cops entered a house without a warrant and charged you for drinking, even though you were in private property?

If the cops tried doing that here they'd quickly be told where they can shove it.

I've had a lot, but here's some information whenever you're in Boston dealing with cops:

•Pot isn't a big deal, just don't be a ****.

•If you're drunk, try to act sober and polite.

•They don't scan your name often, even if they ask you for it and write it down.

•Don't walk around with a beer in hand like a stupid girl I know that got a ticket and summons for walking around Fenway with a beer at 3am.

•If you're at a party and a cop shows, don't book it. They'll rarely arrest people for being drunk if the party is big enough. Typically they just go for the person throwing it or anybody who is trying to **** with them.

once I was chased through the downtown cuz I was stealing Yugioh cards in the mall ( I had like 15 years) they didnt saw my face they just saw my peculiar backpack with some music stereo thingy on it and a DBZ sticker, so they followed me until I saw the way to escape and dropped the backpack without my notebook. So that I never got caught :D

Also in a high school seniors parade ( a tradition in Puerto Rico idk other places) we were passing through another high school while throwing bottles to that school jajajaja, we got caught by police because the car we were broke while the cops saw us -______- they ticket my friend and called all my friends parents except mine because mine used to be in USA at that moment so I gave my cousin number and he just lol'd at it( he's almost 28)

I was lucky :D.

oh and I was almost arrested at a walgreens because a friend of mine started to play wrestling in a pool filled with balls( like Mcdonalds) and we were told to stop and we didnt. They just got out of the walgreens and that's it.

im pretty sure they can enter if they get a noise complaint, see young people who may or may not be underage, they smell alcohol, and no one answers the door when they knock.

but idk man, they got in lol

I could write a novel based on the encounters I've had with police.

Being incarcerated is no fun, haha.

Cop pulled my friend over on the way from a smashfest last night because his light for his license plate was out and they ID'ed everyone in the car and since I didn't have mine they took me out of the car and patted me down and all the **** and it was really humiliating and unnecessary and they didn't even give him a ticket so it was a huge waste of time. They were being *******s for no reason and treated everyone in the car like criminals and questioned us a bunch.

For NO reason.

Well, it depends. If everyone was totally wasted and loud as hell there is a chance someone left the door open or whoever answered it could've let the cops in. What you're supposed to do in situations like these is have someone (preferably the host of the party unless he's too tanked) go out and speak to the cops. Key point is going out and talking to them, not standing in the doorway leaving it open.

no, the door was closed. and yeah the host should have done that haha. but he didnt he hid with the rest of us. we locked the doors, turned off all the lights and music, and we were just trying to be as quiet as possible (although *****es couldnt even do THAT much), and we could hear the cops walking around the house, and see their flashlights and stuff. they finally started knocking really hard yelling POLICE OPEN UP. they were yelling about how they were gonna knock the door down, and finally they did.

and when they got in maan were they pissed at us for not opening hahaha

I was banned from Wal-mart for a year because a friend and I walked around the store sneaking boxes of condoms into random shopping carts.

I guess they thought we were stealing them, and security questioned us about it, but we were like, "LOL no, you got pranked."

Good times.

A cop on campus saw me smoking a swisher cigarillo and blared his lights on, and I had to spend the next ten minutes showing him it was tobacco and having him search the area and pat me down

Held at Gunpoint by TX police K9 Unit. Patted down, questioned, then was told that me and my friends were a suspected gang, and that there was a gang violence call.

They were punching each other in the arm.
There were 3 dudes doing it.
They were all smashers, with controllers on hand, on the way to Whobo.

Epic scared though, never had a loaded gun pointed at me.

Best. Questioning. Ever.

In comparison, mine were so low tier.

"What are you here in TX for? What game? You guys all from the same place? Generic Question?"

Meh.

A girl friend of mine picked a flower for one of our friends that was moving away.

She got taken into the back of a police car for vandalism.

Seriously.
