Woah, what's this for?

Well, if I were to mention some of my favorite less famous units I'd definitely say Mia, Elincia, Tibarn and Shinon. (All FE9 chars I know...). The only one that's prominent enough out of the ones I mentioned is Elincia given she got DLC. Shame too cause Tibarn is so damn awesome.

There's also that Wolf Queen from FE10, but I forget her name.

Anyway, just add Elincia I suppose. If Soren is up there so should she.

Palla, Catria, and Est are a must for such a list. They appear playable in half of the current games in the series if we count BS & FE13 DLC (they have the record for most playable appearances in the series even without the former two). Introduced the series staple the Triangle Attack, and are among the most popular female characters in the series (arguably beating out some lords).

Tiki probably deserves a mention, was the only character from Marth's games to appear in FE13 not counting DLC/Spotpass teams. Not sure if she's popular, but she's definitely well known and her theme song is a masterpiece of the 16 bit era.

Can't think of anyone else besides those four, didn't check to see what everyone else said, so I'll probably make some more comments later.

Most FE fans who like Celice would not think of him as "Seliph". They have been using the Celice name for years, and the localization name "Seliph" is much less known.

They're each a separate playable character technically. Could group them together, it doesn't really matter too much.

At the moment I wouldn't say she is worth it, support for her isn't all that huge yet/too soon to tell. Only FE13 character besides the lords/My Unit I'd say to maybe add would be Tharja (as awfully true as that may sound to some).

Liz is not that popular, the most popular cleric is Serra. I would add the Whitewings Palla, Catria, and Est are very iconic. Other popular and iconic characters are Tiki, Elincia, Ira, Nephenee, Haar, Camus, Tharja, Nino, Lute, and the Black Knight.

Nabarl is a mercenary from Marth's games, and happens to be Sakurai's favourite FE character. That's why he is on the list.

Just beat Priam's chapter, was surprised at it's difficulty, had to restart a few times because even my maxed out units kept dying. Definitely the hardest regular chapter in the game.

Anyway Priam seems likeable in the way that Chrom had potential during the beginning of FE13 before the dumb story and My Unit took over, still has a long way to catch up to Ike though. Was funny to see both descendents get along so well (considering DLC conversations with Marth & Ike), as well as Priam having his own army of units from multiple countries (in typical FE fashion). Also Priam's chapter theme was surprising as it was a remix of the map theme from the starting levels of FE9.

Wouldn't be surprised if he became the star of FE14/15 (15 if you count BS FE like IS does). Due to mixed storyline of Chrom's ending, and that we're going to finish Lucina's story once the Future of Despair DLC comes out, I do think now he has a much better chance than before at becoming the next Leaf.


Looking over some of the DLC conversations, Priam stuff in general, and the Iwata/Sakurai Asks: FE11, I'm definitely betting/more confident on Ike returning now more than ever at this point, he's definitely proven that he's an IS and fan favorite character.

Nabarl is likely only popular with Sakurai cause FE3 was the most succesful Fire Emblem game in Japan, and mercenaries in that game are seriously OP.

Sakurai isn't going to choose some relatively unimportant and comparatively insignificant character just because of bias. If another character from Marth's games had to get it (which they don't), it would be Caeda. ...though she isn't getting in either.

I actually left the background rather empty as it was my intention to leave it as an open canvas for you to work on the background. I couldn't quite get the same flame effect you have on your sig and stuff. I actually leave them all rather plain so people can mess with them if they'd like.

Who is better in game won't effect who gets chosen for Smash. Chrom is still more likely.

Plus she is basically a female Marth, which doesn't offer as much diversity as Sakurai usually looks for. This poll was done in Japan before it came out in the US and Lucina was #1 most popular in game, even though Chrom is the poster character I'd say they have a equal chance.
