For those that don't know, website Sanshee.com created a batch of new shirts that will be available on the website sometime soon in the future, one of which is a Fire Emblem themed shirt that depicts Marth, Ike, Chrom, and Eliwood (wow, NOT Roy)?

Possible explanations:
1. Eliwood looks a lot like Roy so they possibly confused the two.
2. They decided to use international lords only,so Eliwood was used as a Roy substitute.

In any case, the shirt is cool. Would buy.

It COULD be Roy, who knows? Only thing that doesn't make him look like Roy is that he's holding a Rapier, which Eliwood usually does. Then again, his outfit looks more like Eliwood's as well.

Or maybe they just decided to give poor Eliwood some love as he's apparently always overshadowed by Lyn and Roy etc?

I think the next assist trophy will be another main character who doesn't make it into the game. I'm rooting for Ephraim or Micaiah, but I could see it being a cloaked Robin.

well seeing how the Lyn supporters were when they saw that Lyn was deconfirmed as a character, I don't think everyone is going to be satisfied.

I don't want to tell you how to live your life, but that is not a healthy mindset to have.

I am happy to get another fun game to play. I don't want my agenda to dictate what makes it into the game, because I know everyone expects every character ever, and it is impossible to deliver them all while maintaining a fun, diverse, interesting selection of character to choose from. We are entitled to get a good game for our money, but not so self-entitled as to expect everyone to please. It would be one thing if Lucina was a staple character to the franchise, but she isn't. I think the closest thing we have to a "staple", besides Anna, is Marth. Barring all the dozens of amazing Nintendo games out there, Fire Emblem has a lot of cool characters that can make a splash in Super Smash Bros or at least manifest as a trophy. At best Lucina, along wth Chrom and Robin, have the blessings of being the most relevant characters at the time of development.

Just it should be so easy to make a Lucina alternate for Marth. (I don't see her being a Chrom alternate because of weight) or use her as a pair up unit with Chrom to showcase awakening mechanics.

Besides everyone has someone they want in smash, and not always is it answered. I'm doomed to always like not so mainstream characters.

I have to agree with Colaya here. I think Lucina quite honestly will just wind up as a trophy along with other lords that don't get spots.

any lord that doesnt appear could and should be a trophy (unless they already have been in a game, then there is less incentive for Nintendo). and there is really only one spot available unless for some magic reason Ike gets cut. so the same applies to all the other lords.
