I'm doing a project to see tournament placings this summer for players and mains( example - 5 ZSS mains got top 17)

It'll track this summers top 17 mains, Yoshi's not too shabby. Expect a thread when it's ready.

There was a tournament I attended around August 11th I believe when I was a volunteer for San Japan 5, 5th out of 32, but no results thread for it. So it's not added.

Not really, but I guess I do need to change it up a bit,
Maybe something like any proof that the tournament actually happened? I don't know, 200 people for brawl sounds surprising.

Yeah I thought that might be the case. I was shocked when I got told there was 200 entrants, though it was a well known event in my city. Also, the majority of the entrants were people who don't play much.
So anyway, if I were to somehow get proof that it happened, would it count?
Edit: Ah, too bad. I'll just have to do well at this weekends tourney to make up for it

Items are banned in the ruleset, and the timer is 8/10 minutes most of the time, along with some stages that the tournament allowed being legal. So again, no it sadly can't count, Sorry.

It's too bad, cause me and a lot of others were trying to convince them to use the standard rule set (especially if something like this happened) but the organizers didn't agree >.>

I can slightly understand from their point of view since I just recently volunteered for a Con tournament.
The organizers either didn't have the final say in when brawl can start nor had enough setups possibly for an actual tournament, along with the higher ups choosing items on and such since whoever ran the event probably didn't give them options on which ruleset to choose from.

No, it's not. They were trying to aim it toward new comers and people who don't play the game much. Our standard rule set is the same as other countries.

Well,in a tourney here we had a problem with it,some randons wanted items,then we done 2 separated tournaments one with items and other without items.

After that,the guy that got first in the items tournament challenged the other guy that got first in the no items tournament for a MM.

The "no items guy" 3stocked the *** of the "items guy" in like every match,no matter if it was with items or not XD

Got 4th out of 8 going mostly Yoshi for once cuz I played nothing but gay Bowser MUs lol. Went against a D3, a Pika, then 2 Falcos. Results will be up in the next couple days, and I probably went about 60-55% Yoshi. Every single person there was a viable contender for top 10 in state, so I felt good with my placing.

Even using close to $600 for the last one put me in a bit of a hole, since I just moved into my own place around November last year when I bought my tickets and such for APEX. And what I posted is good examples, locations isn't really important. Along with since this isn't AllIsBrawl, I don't expect tournaments posted on SWF to be online results threads, so I assume as well like everyone else, results threads are tournaments that happened offline.
