Bwett was better than pride imo (at certain points).
I was placing around the same as pride for a while when i was active as well, beating a few good players now and then.

Yoshis (not pride hes too good) have to stop having huge egos, when they arent really good at all.

We all need to step it up, 25th/40 and 17th/40 is not good enough, to delta and pride =P
Im gonna do my best to stay consistantly on my game, something ive never been able to do at a large tournament, at winter games fest, and take top 10.

Having an ego is not necessarily a bad thing. Having a large amount of confidence and help make you play better, as long as you don't just autopilot. It's just a mental boost. I doubt I'd have been able to continue on after getting last at Daisho's tournament and then only winning once at Powerplay. =P

But this is the internet, i dont wanna hear people who dont do very well in tournaments, and use their character to make excuses for placing below average in tournament, say they are a top yoshi. Not talking about anyone specifically btw.

lol ur ********. no GOOD big tournaments ever have the time to do registration online. the melee community doesnt mind, and we have been doing online reg since 2004. smashers are notoriously lazy though and always wait til the last minute. pound 3 had 35 entrants for melee til the final few weeks and ended up with 250+

stop being so ********. saying someone like me needs to "man up"




how about the community "mans up" and registers. dont act like im the bad guy for doing online registration. the fact that people would rather ***** and try to put 8+ more hours on me the day of the tournament is insulting. i shouldnt have to take the burdon of the hit for people who are too lazy to run to the store and buy a visa gift card or to find a friend to give cash to with a card.


i cant really blame u guys cuz uve never been to a Pound, i guess. you dont know what its like or how worth the money it is. there is nothing like it, especially with how much effort is going into this one. if im putting 6 months of work into everything for everyone to be happy and people cant hold up their end.

bottom line is this ISNT a local tourney and registration WONT be able to happen at the door, too much planning is necessary. people will sign up at the last minute, they always do. the only thing people freaking out about it is doing is taking AWAY entrants who were on the fence of coming.

kewkky uve prolly never been to a pre-reg tourney before, but this is totally expected. genesis wouldve been the same way if their online-registration didnt fail so hard

He will definitely go luigi against you IF you beat his mario lol. The whole match is a huge mind**** all he does is walk around wait for you to do something stupid and punish it with a grab or up B or uair. He has plenty of yoshi practice because of me so don't expect to have it easy if he goes mario first round. Expect Luigi the whole way through though. Just don't fall for his UpBs and DON'T SPOTDODGE like an idiot when he is close spotdodge or backwards roll = UpB xD. Just play smart don't let him **** with you haha.

He is the best samus in Md/Va and planks A LOT. he will shot **** the whole match so expect a lot of annoying samus planking and spamming. He is very good off stage so don't try to Fair spike him because you will end up being spiked instead. He has enough yoshi MU experience to get by and really knows his stuff. Don't let him bait your airdodges with Uair/Dair. One more thing he has a pocket Sheik which is okay. So know that MU as well Good Luck

Well if you don't already know Oh he is one of the best MKs in Md/Va his play style is just flat out aggressive and very careless but don't doubt his ability to read you even with his aggressive play style. I have done very well against him in the past but he has learned how to KO yoshi better now and has a ton of yoshi practice. WATCH YOUR RECOVERY

Very good mario a huge treat he has taught boss almost everything he knows with mario and is one of the best in SOVA. He has also learned everything he knows about luigi from boss so he can CP you no problem. I don't know to much more except he has a pair of goofy glasses Good Luck.

Definitely without a doubt the best peach in Md/Va. He plays a ton of wifi so obviously knows a lot of MUs and I guarantee he knows the yoshi MU as well. He doesn't go to tourneys much but he practices every single day and is always getting better. He is a member of my crew so I know he is good first hand. A very technical player and like to CP crazy stages and ban SV lol. Watch for his stupid tricks on stupid stages and just outsmart him. He always spams Fair at KO percentages so bait it and punish. One more thing he has taken a match off of chu in tourney recently so the guy is smart be careful and good luck.

Best D3 in Md/Va I taught him the yoshi MU to an extent he has recently been placing top 5 at like every tourney he has been to and defiantly going to be extremely hard to beat Delta. Try to stall the clock on him and don't approach he also like to use neutral B a lot and has a very weird style so be on the watch for stupid tricks. He is not afraid to approach whatsoever. Watch your pivot grabs and eggs he will approach them without much worry.

I have taught this guy the yoshi MU and so has Oh. Since Oh is in his crew he has TONs of yoshi training and knows the MU. The second best Marth in Md/Va only behind Neo uless you want to count kadaj. Try to not use to many Bairs and camp his ***. Don't test him off stage and he is generally a generic marth BUT a very good one so be careful.

Time to help you guys because this is a lot of really good/unnoticed Md/Va peepz so I can help you fukkas.

My predictions for top 3 in the pools are

3. Noidea/Lk/Polt Its a toss up imo. The Puerto Rican could randomly have gotten better so watch out

EDIT -- I will be there hopefully when they are doing first round pools but I will definitely be there during the second round of pools. Therefore if you would like me to give you more tips on the md/va players or just tell you there habits and stuff let me know
