Beezy, who are you teaming with? This isn't me asking to take your teammate from you (or the other way around); I was just curious.

I don't know if I am entering pound yet but if I do I have no teammate yet

I might just be a spectator cuz I don't want to enter singles and idk if plank put a option on the site to just enter doubles

... lol, quitted... :lick:

Guys, the deadline for registering at Pound4 is approaching! It's New Year's Eve, and there is no registrations in person, it's all ONLINE. If you don't register by the end of the year, you're out for good, and the TOs made it clear that they want to make pools before the tourney's date is upon them to avoid rushes!

Come on, guys who haven't registered yet... Just so you know, Brawl has only 57 entrants right now. 57!!!

fail pound is fail

no one wants to pre-register online. TOs need to man up and do all the brackets in a hour before the tourney and **** everything up so everyone complains But they will have **** good time.

If anything, that online registration thing is making it easier for everyone to decide not to go. In tourneys with no online registrations, people go expecting there to be loads of people, but now that online registrations are up for people to see how many are going BEFORe the actual tourney happens (AND there's a deadline), people are too scared to register due to fear of losing too much money on a crappy tourney with 60 people tops.

I hate online reg.

:yoshi: I am not gonna hate on Jon Wood cuz he is the man.

But Brawl kids are terrible at signing up for big tournaments.

I think people are hesitating to sign up because of the supposed low turnout the tourney will have.

Well, if you guys signed up then it wouldn't seem to be such a low turnout now would it? >_>

If there was no VIEWABle online reg, then people wouldn't get scared away at the supposed "low turnouts" and just register. : |

Everyone keeps saying that same thing, but it still doesn't make me feel better about coming from out-of-country and wasting $400-$500 on a tourney that supposedly was gonna be huge, but so far seems like a typical "local tourney"... D:

Well, I'm going to keep on believing that more people will sign up soon.

And even if they don't, I'm sure that this tournament is going to be awesome. Enjoy it for what it is. ^_^

lol ur ********. no GOOD big tournaments ever have the time to do registration online. the melee community doesnt mind, and we have been doing online reg since 2004. smashers are notoriously lazy though and always wait til the last minute. pound 3 had 35 entrants for melee til the final few weeks and ended up with 250+

stop being so ********. saying someone like me needs to "man up"

how about the community "mans up" and registers. dont act like im the bad guy for doing online registration. the fact that people would rather ***** and try to put 8+ more hours on me the day of the tournament is insulting. i shouldnt have to take the burdon of the hit for people who are too lazy to run to the store and buy a visa gift card or to find a friend to give cash to with a card.

i cant really blame u guys cuz uve never been to a Pound, i guess. you dont know what its like or how worth the money it is. there is nothing like it, especially with how much effort is going into this one. if im putting 6 months of work into everything for everyone to be happy and people cant hold up their end.

bottom line is this ISNT a local tourney and registration WONT be able to happen at the door, too much planning is necessary. people will sign up at the last minute, they always do. the only thing people freaking out about it is doing is taking AWAY entrants who were on the fence of coming.

kewkky uve prolly never been to a pre-reg tourney before, but this is totally expected. genesis wouldve been the same way if their online-registration didnt fail so hard

I wish I could go to Pound 4, but I don't have the money nor the time. The more Yoshi reps that could get out there the better because it would be awsome to have a Yoshi clan there. You never know what could happen and I bet you all could get Yoshi a lot more respect than he gets. All I've got to say is good luck to everyone who attends Pound 4. One of these days I'll attend a big tournament. It would be so awsome.

Hey guys I just signed up last night for pound 4

I'm a Yoshi main, my tag is Oh., 2nd best Yoshi MD/VA 2009 (strongest yoshi region)

Probably not gonna make it out of pools

Also, if we have a decent # of yoshi mains there we should challenge people to a crew battle, LOL

M2k, Ally, Atomsk, ADHD, DEHF vs. 5 Yoshis

Who's the best in MD/VA?

Lol @ the **** that would be given to us if we did that crew battle. I do highly support Yoshi crews, however.
