Your second sentence refers to playing AGAINST snake, and not every match that snake participates in is a ditto. I advise you to stay in the same perspective for every sentence.

i got lucky though tournament mode doesn't have any loser bracket so I didn't have to fight that snake again, that match was too close! anyways I can almost always beat lvl. 9 computers now so yoshi is at least mid tire
