Nah, I can't make it. Still in Louisiana and don't feel like driving all that way and then come back in a week, haha. I will be at HOBO 22, though.

Squirtle's metagame has a long way to go. Nobody's really explored hydrojabbing stuff much (<3 Kith for bringing it into the open), and I think that might push him over the edge. His ridiculous potential mobility should be simply amazing in competitive play if we could master it.
I swear I had a dream where I was using Squirtle, and the only way I moved around the stage was sliding and shifting :-D

It's not playing in theatres in Canada anymore?

If I lived in Canada, I would totally go see it with you, Mike. :p

In case I can't make it up to Canada...be a real man and see it by yourself! Or better yet, take a girl!

I just finished my latest video. It's a game of HORSE between one of my 40-something year-old college professors against Adam Shepard, a 20-something year-old author whose book we read in class. To see who won, check it out!

I'm pretty sure snake has to predict the roll away even just to ftilt, but I could be wrong. Ivy doesn't really have to worry about dthrow, when you can mix up roll away with get up attack and the occasional roll towards.

i'm less than a second off the world record for squirtle target test level 1.

it's hard. :s i can say that i've gotten slightly better at controlling squirtle because of it.

i'm the best hydroplaner ever

just ask rich brown

i was going 75 on the freeway and started hydroplaning in the carpool lane in between the concrete divider and another car for about 7 seconds

perfectly straight

i had to get all the way down to like 25 MPH before i regained control

so basically playing squirtle saved my life or something

****

in retrospect i probably shouldn't have been going 75 in the pouring rain but i did get home really fast
