If its the whole pokedex then I usually never do unless I hack the code for Action Replay =X I just focus on beating the elite four, getting all the gym badges, and obtaining the pokemon I want.

In all seriousness though Limit, that was actually rather unpleasant. Is that guy really one of your friends? Or is he more like that guy that just tags along with the group, you know, but nobody actually really values his presence, and it gets kinda awkward at times, and he's always the last person to understand a joke or something and he laughs when everybody else has finished laughing and then you all do a silent face-palm and remember that he's actually among the group, and when you arrange to meet with the others you try and make sure this guy doesn't know about it so he doesn't come along? That kind of friend?

Again, this is WiFi and he's just some kid, I could care less. I just copy-pasted this because it was just really ****ing funny to me lol. Anybody having any luck using DSmash as a vertical "troll" smash? Know how FSmash can counter well-spaced horizontal attacks? Well I pulled off some neat DSmashes against the AI today against short-hop attacks that otherwise would've hit a standing Bowser.

The opponent could still probably DI out of it though, which is a pity. (I can't do it, though, spam it against me!)

I remember someone on the LS of WHOBO was saying how good Bowser's dsmash was. Then I came on and said "Noooooooo."

Sure, it does good damage and can KO... but it's SDIable.

True but the window of... crouching is very small.

My idea with DSmash is to do it on reaction to a short hop approach (character dependent of course) so you'll only likely hit with the last hits of the DSmash, SDI shouldn't be too much of an issue but then again I'm not sure. When I did it I got the last 3 or so hits in.

While true, hardly seems worth it, even in the few situations it would be useful for. Or maybe I'm playing Bowser wrong again. I like to keep moving, or at least make 'em come to me rather than reach out for them(U-smash's end lag and I don't agree with each other, unless it's a platform-happy stage). D-smash comes off as a better/safer option.

Needs more CD talk.

Uh yeah, which characters were you using that on? I still stand by DSmash not being that good of a Smash attack overall. Maybe if you gave a bit more detail I'd be able to judge better but the way I'm thinking about it is vs. Marth for example; his SHFair hits Bowser whether he's crouching, standing, ****ting, whatever.

Oh wait I just had a mental orgasm. Um, yeah. I think you can dodge Falco's BAir with DSmash, provided he's trying to hit you with his backside. I'm not sure if the same applies for USmash since Bowser's shell points up and it's kinda fat...meh.

The C4 thing is legit. Bowser jumps when he does USmash so C4 gets loljumped over. yay.
