We've all been there. You're walking down the video game aisle looking for a new video game and you find it alright, but you see another video game. You try not to look at it, but it gives you bambi eyes and seems to say "PLEASE TAKE ME HOME". You pay for it, take it home, and put it in the console. Ten minutes later, you take it out of the console and chunk it against the wall screaming and pulling your hair out. What I'm asking is what's the worst video game(s) you've ever played?

I know. What's the point of licensed games especially those based on movies if they never live up to their promise. There are a few video games that are so terrible, they deserve to be buried in a landfill somewhere in New Mexico.

Resident Evil: Survivor

Okay, get this.

I was using cheat codes, infintie health and full weaponry. I go down a hidden ally, come across a hidden boss, a giant alligator. Decide, this is lame, I'm going back. Nope, another alligator pops up. Now, to kill ONE of them took LITERALLY all of my amo, and I had to kill the other with the hand gun, which is designed in game to have infinite bullets. Because there are two constantly attacking you from both sides, you can't avoid the attacks. I can guarantee you that they killed me at least 100 times over if I didn't have infinite health on.

Yep.

If I could remember the title of this game for N64 then you all might know what game I'm talking about. On the back it looked like an awsome shooter. I rented it and it sucked. Instead of running around with a gun you ran around with a flashlight and shined it on things to make them disappear. The character you controlled was an Indian of some sort. Totally different from the back of the box. I was hoping to play it all night but I ended up falling asleep at 10:00 that Friday night bored. This was around 2000-2001.

:mad::mad::mad::mad:

Quite possibly the most pointless piece of software ever put out for sale. I'd like to call it a slightly pimped out Pictochat, but even that's too good of a description, since it doesn't even have all of Pictochat's features and has no download play, meaning 2 people need to own this trash. And this was put out at the full retail price of 30$. Which was suckered into paying for, since it was the only DS game left on my local store's shelf at the time.(And for a good reason.)

This is literally the worst piece of programming ever to be **** into existence. At least all the other games mentioned here are, y'know, games. Games that actually required some amount of development time and effort. All THQ did was take Pictochat, ran it through Blingee, and called it a day. I can't even call it "bad", since at least some bad games are worth a laugh or 2. There are no such positive feelings inherent in this program. Only sorrow and depression.

Either Superman 64 or Bebe's Kids. God, I actually own a COPY of both of those.

The third level of Bebe's Kids made me want to go insane, I don't even know why I have the game either. I think it's my brother's game and he let me have it. No wonder.

I don't know, compared to the other ones, it's without a doubt the worst. That's probably just my Bias though. There are plenty of other horrible games out there.

@Snowmanthatknows:

That's not cool dude, Brawl isn't remotely the worst.

Nearly all of the TRULY terrible games came around the Atari explosion, like Robin Hood and ET.

No you're not. =P

Wait...I can understand Sonic '06 since I'm the only person I know who liked that game, but Cruisin' USA? That game is awesome.

Yu-Gi-Oh: The Falsebound Kingdom for GC(What a horribly slow paced strategy RPG. It's much slower than the card game itself, trust me)
Oh hey, I remember that. I rented it from Blockbuster and my reaction was basically, "What the hell? This is like Pokémon. Except not exactly. But still. If I wanted to play Pokémon, I would play Pokémon..."

Anyways, Awesome Possum and Bubsy need more
less?
love.

Hey, my own opinion, right? ahaha

Yeah, I have to agree with the Atari age. I still got one laying aruond my house somewhere with a good ammount of games.

One of the worst games I have played and own is Shadowgate for the NES.

This is what happens when a third party developer gets the rights to make a Zelda game. Its probably the most horrifying adaptation of a popular game series I've ever witnessed.

Brawl is awesome i dont care what anyone says.
people just get caught up in comparing it to melee. if you take brawl for what it is, its an amazing game.

and thats MY opinion.

Chuck Norris Superkicks for the 2600 was pretty bad. I never had a clue what was happening.

Worst game I've played is Karateka, you'd fight all the bad guys until you got to a closed door at the end where you died no matter what you did near it! It was unwinnable.

Godai: Elemental Force for PS2. It's basically a tedious, frustrating beat-em-up wth lame "elemental" powers. The only bit of enjoyment I get out of it is randomly screwing around in multiplayer, but don't even try to play it seriously or you'll cry.

Worst game I've heard of has to be Action 52. 200$ for 52 ET-quality shovelware "games".
