ya lil b is one of those cats you just gotta stumble upon yourselfI haven't listened to any hip hop album in its entirety besides Big Boi and Kendrick in the past month though.
well and countless lil b mixtapes but idk if i would exactly recommend him to someone who isn't into hip hop already.
I'll prolly check out this Deep Puddle Dynamics just cuz I've seen two people cosign it alreadyUGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!
Fine.
Deep Puddle Dynamics - The Taste of Rain... Why Kneel?
-- Lyrically, imo, this is the greatest album ever made, and is also my favorite hip-hop album of all time.
Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy

cLOUDDEAD - cLOUDDEAD
-- Used to be my favorite album of all time. Unfortunately, I played this thing to death, and it kinda lost its charm... It was always hold a special place in my heart though. :D
oh ****, I thought I recognized Sole's voiceDeep Puddle Dynamics - The Taste of Rain... Why Kneel
Agreed with all of the above, especially the bolded and underlined.I probably listen through Below the Heavens all the way through about once a week (except ****ing Juicen Dranks I cannot get through that song). One of the best hip-hop albums of the past decade by far, modern classic. I love all of Blu's **** and this is him at his best. Introspective, fun, clever, well-produced, it's all around fantastic.
ya I kinda agree. I still listen to the tapes and stuff moresometimes ima hip hop hipster
GOOD KID MAD CITY was an amazing "debut" album for K DOT
but personally the mixtapes and stuff he dropped before that have been way more re-listenable to me than his debut

thats a track that represents SOME of the fire i felt was lacking on his debut (note that if kendrick was lacking it for his debut, dre filled in for him 1000x)
she let me use her van to go to the studio, even tho she knows her tank is empty, thats who i do it for
I'm personally waiting for rainbow flame.pink flame is coming

that album art is something else. i also really like this beat
Well, as I mentioned we have Long Live ASAP, and... Snoop LION's album "Reincarnated". I guess 50 Cent is coming out with a new one too but I could care less about him. I'm really hoping for another Eminem album there have been rumors about.what's on the 2013 hip hop schedule tho? I am kinda in the dark and not really excited about anything
I do like this Frank Ocean song off the Django soundtrack

I'm sure if I got the context better I could appreciate that more. I literally don't even pay attention to Meek Mill or any of the Maybach Music **** lineup. That was dope regardless though. I love it when rappers go hard on 10+ minute stuff :3Who makes ten minute diss tracks going directly at somebody anymore? Cassidy on some 02' **** still

He killed it tho..
"Let Wale recite a poem at your funeral."
Well since I've poked at the album already a few times in the thread, I'll give it my thoughts.LongLiveA$AP opinions?
Worse than LiveLoveA$AP IMO, only about 5 or 6 listenable songs. rocky's lack of lyricism is really starting to show.
his ear for production is still on point though.
"Wild For The Night" catches a lot of peoples eyes, as it features the Dubstep artist, Skrillex. This song is half fantastic and half horrible. The first forty seconds is Rocky's "trademarked" (I only say trademarked because he uses it way more often than any other artist I know) low pitched edited voice over a very dull joke of a beat rapping about basically nothing. Then suddenly Skrillex blasts from nowhere, and suddenly the song is a kickass rave tune. Immediately after the first chorus though, it goes back to the low voice coupled this time with a quiet, tame version of the techno/Dub beat we heard Skrillex produce. It kills the mood instantly. It eventually builds back into the normal pace, but I ask, if you want this song playing at clubs or raves, why the **** would you start out with that deep droning voice, and then go BACK to it after we actually get a taste of the awesome bit? It's really disappointing actually. It makes me wish the whole track was like that.I love bad *****es, that's my ****in problem
And yeah I like to ****, I got a ****in problem [x3]
Wow, an A$AP Mob member! A$AP Ferg makes an appearance in "Ghetto Symphony". I figured not many A$AP Mob members were on this album to avoid alienating the mainstream crowd with crew members that'd come off like he's pushing it on the buyer. Besides, we heard enough of them in "Lord$ Never Worry". Anyway, with such an epic name and a matching stringy sample for the beat, the lyrics are pretty so-so. Seems like another track to fill the album and nothing special, to be blunt.Substance get me higher, reefer and some fire
The devil is a liar, biased preachers shall retire
Jesus walked on water, I'm preachin' to the choir
Long live A$AP, now bow to your Messiah
It's a little sprite of my character thing. She's in my icon too, except naked there XD^ Just curious but what exactly is your signature?
