I've always heard "raw" used as a description of production and recording techniques. For instance, 36 Chambers sounds raw, 808's sounds slick and overproduced.

I pretty much agree with everything in this post, especially with what Jadakiss did to 50 loool.
I feel like Yeezy is one of the Greats in the game right now, and I relate with him more than I do with Jay and Nas to be honest *note me staying out of Illmatic =/= Reaosnable Doubt discussion*. I dunno what it is about Ye, I know he's not as established as those 2 artist, but he is definitely **** near close.
I'm gonna download it again, but I doubt i'll agree with this sentiment.
