Lol wtf?

Anyways, My surgery was a success. They fixed the problem and in doing so found that my knee was more ****ed up than originally thought so they put the cartilage back in place and shaved my meniscus.

Lol yesterday was crazy. I was listening to Illmatic all day before my operation. 2 songs kept getting me depressed as ****. NY State of Mind and Life's a *****. "I never sleep cause sleep is the cousin of death" so I'm thinking that's great I'm listening to this right before they knock me out. "Life's a ***** and you die" that pretty much summed up everything. Lol I was getting all paranoid and ****.

I'm good though. Preciate the support.

Check the debut album, it has some of his best songs, Calm Down, 10 Mins and Walk With Me. Other tracks are mostly there due to label pressures but Focus and Fire is my shizzzzzzzzzzzz.

Both seem under par compared to the MM's but they both are filled with gems. Better Me, Pray For Me >>>>

On another note, I got into this huge argument with my brother about Rick Ross...See, my brother put me on to Hip Hop, got me started with most of my music, and lets me know about new talent that I should look out for (Asher Roth, Charles Hamilton, J.cole, so on...)

So when he tells me Rick Ross puts together the best albums, it kinda threw me for a loop. Yeah, his beats are amazing, but best albums? That's something I can't grasp....He's so lulzy.

i heard of them a while back. listened to some stuff, and loved it. never got any of their stuff though. they put a new album out recently i think.

Yea, Rick Ross's beat selection and ability to make good music is can't be questioned, but the best? Above Jay? Above Kanye? Above T.I.?

Not to mention underground artists as well.

the bawse is cool in small doses. his beats are dope but he doesn't really talk about **** lol. if i could just download his beats and some nas acapellas, i'd be whippin work right now lol.

I literally think the ONLY problem that I really have with Nas is his beat selection.

So yea, Nas + Rick Ross beats = eargasm

I'm talmbout the changes to the original beat. The second beat is completely different, so it's cool.

The changes made to the original beat in the beginning of the whole track were silly and unnecessary tho.

I have no problem with artists selling out for an album or two as long as they come back with good music once their name is out there

Not everyone makes it back tho

true nas is the only one. i dont consider him a sellout though because he has dope tracks every once and a while like Hope (acappella was fierce) and Hip Hop is Dead comes to mind.
