I've always had trouble pronouncing the word 'Country', always came out sounding like 'Crunchy'. :lick:

Whereas my mate can't say 'Cinnamon'.

Any words you have trouble pronouncing?

Mine is "Cinnamon" too.

It always sounds like I'm saying "see-min-em".

I had a speech impediment a few years ago. Every time I tried to say 'shirt' it sounded like '****'. Literally though.

I have a hard time pronouncing "brandon". Like I can, but I have to put a lot of effort in.

"Crayon."

I pronounce it like "cran." Everyone gives me a hard time about it. For the first 18 years of my life, no one cared how I said it. But all of a sudden when I got to college, it became a big deal lol. Whatever, I don't have time to be adding in the extra syllable that everyone seems to want to hear. I'll just stick to saying CRAN.

"Open" or any 'o' word similar to that.

I'll say it "oumpen" and that bugs a lot of people.

I'd be more cute if there were a word I couldn't pronounce properly, but whatever even if I type like an *** I'm pretty well spoken.

Elocution training ftl.

For the longest time, I didn't know the proper pronunciation for "banal."

There are others, I'm sure, but I can't think of anymore at the moment.

For the most part, I'm fine pronouncing words if I know the pronunciation. French, on the other hand, I can hardly pronounce because the pronunciations are as inconsistent as English and I don't know anything in the language aside from remote things I can pick up due to knowing Spanish.

I cannot say explanation/explication . It comes out as explication, the m/n other one, or anything else of the variation.
