First off, the Cacti v.s. Marshy debate:
Points for Cacti:
1) Tom is claiming cop (more or less) and backs him. Yeah, that's more or less it.
Points for Marshy:
1)Marshy was on the riddle lynch.
2)Cacti was against the riddle lynch.
3)Cacti quick-hammered steel ridiculously early into D2.
4)Cacti hasn't been contributing in his own right.
5)A backup is a easy claim for mafia to make. Little worries of counter-claims, and it's someone town wants to keep around.
6)A Godfather is extremely common in 3 mafia games.
7)Until Cacti shifted some of the focus to him, Cacti's neck was at the chopping block (although, it's still pretty close.)
Although the one point Cacti does have in his favor is pretty strong, I don't think it's enough to overcome the various scummy things he's done (and townie things marshy's done) this game.

Omni & Marshy, I have absoultely no clue what to make of your messages. I'll back through Marshy's one more time but Omni I couldn't make heads or tails of what you gave us.
Cacti: I don't get it. Even if you did think Steel is scum, why did you lynch so early in the day? Why were you in such a hurry to do it? There was definitely no reason to. Scum or dumb?
ON the like bajillion investigative roles, here are the scenarios running thru my head, with my thought next to them
1) They all exist, Chaco and Cacti are what they claim, and assumign Tom's soft claim is correct - lolwtf
2) Chaco's lying , Tom and Cacti are what they claim - Possibly an aggressive move by scum Chaco to get Tom lynched by reading into Tom's posts with extreme scrutiny.
3) Cacti's lying - I dunno where Cacti could've pulled this role from. Leaning towards it's real since it's rare (at least in my mind).
3a) I also think he COULD be indy and that him getting to be a back up could just be a survivor + back up combo. Dunno though, speculation.
3b) Connection with Tom - If Cacti is truly scum, then Tom's sanity comes into question. It coudl also be a mafia gambit for us to by into, that Tom has created. "look Cacti is NOT the lynch today, that's all i can say" ballsy, but meh.
4) Tom's lying
4a) Tom LYING but has a mafia investigative role - I think this is a possibility as well. He could easily investigate, clear a townie, thus making himself look clear. Tom, even if Cacti turns up town, is definitely not clear in my book.

TL;DR : I think we gain the most from lynching Tom or Cacti today. By Tom's flip, we would learn the most, in my opinion. If he turns up what he's breadcrumbing, then iwe can almost safely clear cacti. Cacti has been genereally just been playing scummy and I would follow that lynch as well.

It's hard to reveal my thoughts in my first post in the game halfway into D3 without parroting alittle Omni. As i stated, I think Cacti is playing scummy right now. I also think Chaco is being a bit...overly aggressive, it's a null tell for sure, but it's something to keep in the back of my mind. He's been noted for being really timid as scum and it looks to me like overcompensation.
As i said, i ahve no ****ing idea what to make of your note. I'm about to go back and read through Marshy's, but it looks like it's filled with allusions to the novels/characters, and as I'm not too familiar with the book series, I most likely won't make heads or tails of it.

also, my main concern with your post was the whole scenario breakdown. i think it's that's a scumtell for incoming scum to enter the game and look as if they're contributing by making lengthy posts just explaining set outcomes if certain people are of certain alignments.
Omni, I don't see any questions directed at Omnis other than "we're waiting for you to post" If I missed it, Please direct me to it, because that's all i see. I think Omis didn't speak up because he knew he made some really illogical posts in the past and was afraid of doing so again, causing in his lynch, which, i assure you, would be bad. I don't think Omis (no offense dude) played well at all this game. THere was post 316 you pointed out that where he said "I'm Chaco in this situation" which made little or no sense to me :/. It was a whole bunch of nothing and ti was his only...real post of the game.

Chaco it's not just meta it's the fact we have a confirmed watcher, claimed back up watcher, claimed doc, and soft claim cop. I believe you agree that this is odd in your post 495 in response to Omni. So, in my mind, at least, over compensation + CC'ing doc against Tom, which then went uncountered since Tom claimed that he WASNT the mad hatter, stands out to me

I did answer it Omni. I was saying he didn't and I misspoke, and that he was claiming he wasn't a protective role.

I can see Marshy + Omni. The whole note thing is a fake, and they're just confusing us. Junglefever is another candidate too, Marshy could be spy who sent a note to Omni and faked his own so it wouldn't look like he was spy.
