d throw does the most damage but f throw can lead to some okay follow ups and b throw can kinda do the same but its also good for getting away from your opponent. i just never use u throw

Dthrow's 12% damage makes it the best imo. If they tech you're in in a better position to follow up with Dsmash or Fsmash, depending and if not they are launched at a nice low angle. On rare occasion I might Bthrow someone offstage.

Best combo is down throw into the water then up b to kill on delphino ask ish he knows :)
You could have asked me, Delfino probably Wolfs best stage because all of his moves are viable on that stage like half the time.

This is making me so excited since WOLF KICK (upb) is one of my favorite moves but I almost never use it. Do you know what the maximum % is?
looooooool

I was joking.

The point of that post was basically the opposite of what I said, you never want to D-throw between 0 and like 12% because most characters have the frame advantage because they don't actually get grounded and there is no stun due to that.

So like if you d-throw falco at 0%, you are going to get jabbed, grabbed and potentially CG'd because of your horrible mistake.

That being said, D-throw combos into spike on Lylatt.

guarenteeeeeeed!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's fun when you know your opponent is smart, and you dthrow them at 0% only to PS their jab and get a free grab :3

But yeah don't actually dthrow people at low %s.

Hey guys, I've been changing a thing about my :wolf: that I think will make a big difference in my game. Instead of using Fsmash as a punisher, I've been switching up to using more Dtilt. Dtilt is safer on block. Obviously if I know Fsmash is guaranteed then I go for that though.

Dtilt starts on frame 5-6 and can be interrupted after 28 frames to do another action. It does 6%, can trip (What's the trip rate anybody?), and has good range. Fsmash starts frame 10-12...And lasts 46 frames, but does 14-15% total. That's 18 frames difference!! That's so huge...And since they both have almost the same range it only makes sense to use Dtilt more unless you know your opponent did something laggy enough that you can hit them within 1/6 of a second (Fsmash) compared to 1/12 of a second (Dtilt). I think Fsmash is a much larger punish, but it leads into nothing and is hugely unsafe on block. Dtilt being safer on block and possibility of tripping an opponent is so good.

Played Junebug, Neo, Pink Fresh, Luckay, and Tantalus yesterday. Neo taught me about another handy tech. If you dash>input down at the exact distance it would take to dashing shield then you can jab immediately afterwards. Probably been known for awhile, but I think it can be useful.

Can't find trip rate for dtilt in our frame data, but I've had an unreasonably high success rate of dtilt tripping people when you catch them during landing lag. Unreasonably high as in, well over 90% success when they're at %s where dtilt can trip.

Tbh, punishment is all about going for whatever move will hit hardest or put you in the best position with the time available. Dtilt is good if you need to be quick, but when you have the time for both a guaranteed dtilt and fsmash idk why you'd pass up the latter for the former :x what do you use dtilt for that fsmash won't cover? Also, ftilt is pretty good too, for the same general task.

The dash > jab thing is known but I barely see anyone use it. Could be handy for Wolf, since we have a good initial dash.

The dash-down thing has been known since melee.

Also I'm about to be moving so I will be throwing smashfests/tournaments again so maybe I'll actually get good at brawl again.

I just looked in the frame data and dtilt has a 40% chance to tilt. Ish for your delphino kill do you upb down or to the sides?

MRM, are you still going to be in Nebraska?

Blue, you should ask MCPe, he's the master when it comes to this tech xD but you just upB horizontally and it's a free stock (you kill them off the sides and land in the water)

Yes I will still be in Nebraska, it's just I had been living with my parents again for 3 years after living in Lincoln for 5 years.

I had been meaning to move out for a long time, but I don't want to abandon my cat, she will be so sad. When I'm gone for even like 2 days she just sits by the door and waits for me, and it makes me think of the end of that Futurama episode where Frys dog just sits and waits for him forever and it's literally the saddest thing I've ever seen on television that isn't one of those starving cats in africa commercials.

She is my moms cat (with her sister) and she hasn't ever experienced the living situation type I will be experiencing and she's like 12.

For those of you wondering, yes, I have basically chosen to live at home and hang out with my cat instead of living on my own and taking all of the 35 year old divorced women home with me.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this, I hate that episode. :'(

The Delfino thing is a huge gimmick. Learn Bair spacing before anything.
Well, what if this person ALWAYS plays a game on Delfino. So long as he avoids Japan stage lists, and he always wins game 1 and loses game 2 and picks Delfino, it's useful 33% of the time on stages and like 20% of the time on the stage, and that's like 100% of the time!

Castle Siege is annoying,

1st transformation you get stuck when recovering

2nd transformation we get chain grabbed off the side

3rd transformation the lack of platforms ruins our game

Probably not one of our best stages
