Ohhh true. I think because he stated earlier that he couldn't kill during the night, I thought it was a day kill. I'm still not for keeping it around. If he's scum why would he listen to our direction? Please explain this in more detail. Unless we yeet Survivalist D1 (or yeet DOB who shoots Survivalist) Hunter won't shoot N1 so we can talk about directing his potential shot during D2. Why does protection matter here?
Appreciate the thought. I think given the nature of this game (particularly the no-flip, Last Stand and the Angel/Demon aspects) most strategy discussion should happen on D2.
Okay, but why the hurry? Obviously we should yeet him if he' scum but what about the Hunter role makes it a priority to override other concerns?I'm still not for keeping it around. If he's scum why would he listen to our direction?
This also explains a lot, and very obviously again not meant in a condescending wayIt's 9:23am for me right now.
Yep, I get it now. I was responding to your suggestion that we could direct him D2. I don't want him to shoot (i.e. he needs to go by D2).Okay, but why the hurry? Obviously we should yeet him if he' scum but what about the Hunter role makes it a priority to override other concerns?
The reason I'm listening to your direction is because Hunter's the only role I got. No other roles or partners at all.Ohhh true. I think because he stated earlier that he couldn't kill during the night, I thought it was a day kill. I'm still not for keeping it around. If he's scum why would he listen to our direction?
Alright, at the risk of further role discussion. Can you explain this accidental role fish? I don't see it.I also don't think she would then also accidentally role fish #132.
Boo is in my bottom 3 at this point, but he's a PoE slot at best. If he's scum he's going to be a liability D1 in this game. And going for the Boo yeet is lazy scumhunting. Someone else at least has to be scum. Save Boo for D2. Sabrar is right that there's no urgency for stopping the hunter shot. And I think there are scenarios where we will decide it's worth the risk of letting him take his shot.Ohhh true. I think because he stated earlier that he couldn't kill during the night, I thought it was a day kill. I'm still not for keeping it around. If he's scum why would he listen to our direction?
So sorry, I interpreted your “gag/tell” as “gag-that-is-used-by-bessie-as-a-pseudo-tell-to-generate-D1-discussion”, when it is in actuality “non-gag-used-by-bessie-to-generate-reads”.I'm well aware that is been ligit, that is why I said "gag slash tell". Anyway, character limit makes sense. And you have to admit I was right that you were thinking of Sabrar when you posted it.
Anyway, I await your reads list with baited breath.
I’m not carefree I’m Madge. bessie is as uptight as usual. And neither of us sees what you are talking about in #132, unless you think I was not telling the truth about my “explain” comment, which yes because I did not realize and correct it until later was accidental role fishing. She's being carefree. You made a comment that it's NAI, but I disagree. Last game I mentioned that scum!bessie has a hard time seeing the things she would respond to as town and it comes off as non-engaged. Specifically, her questioning Chaco about the rolefish is not something I think she'd be inclined to do as scum because she would think that town!bessie would stay silent so as to not out you as Oracle. I also don't think she would then also accidentally role fish #132. That being said, she could be incorporating my evaluation from last game into her play, but we talked about it after the game and she didn't quite see what I meant.
This is totally completely true and is NAI. If it is false, it is because Sabrar had been thinking about his strategy plans before he signed up and he had them ready in less than 5 minutes.5 minutes after opting in I already had all my strategy plans ready. Are you seriously calling dibs on mentioning them in thread first?
Would you agree that scum is generally more aware of who they are voting and who is voting them?
Yes I did miss this; must be this short posting style I am trying out. The answer is individually no, as a group yes.bessie I think you missed this.
Bessie, Xivii, Boo.BoomFrog can you give me your updated bottom 3?
I got asked a lot of questions and felt it was worth responding to them.BoomFrog it feels to me like since your readlist in #157 you've been mostly answering questions and not really doing much scum-hunting. Even with bessie you say it's mostly PoE and not scummy content. You have little less than 5 hours to give me a solid case on someone, otherwise I will most probably park my vote on you before going to bed.
This is probably the only list where I'm not close to the bottom. I'm neither town nor scum here.Woof
bessie
Sabrar
Xivii
KingBoo
FrozenFlame
Chaco
BoomFrog
Grrr
if you're his mate you don't want scrutiny falling on him, if he has a swingy killing role (which he does) you know that is going to make players leery of letting him survive into the late game, you wouldn't want us to direct his kill, you'd want the kill as a surprise scum tool, etc etc#HBC | FrozeηFlame What motivation do you think scum!me might have had to try to hard prevent Boo's claim? I still don't get why you thought that was suspicious.
I feel that someone should roleclaim Judge in the event that we fail to come to a consensus.
this feels weirdly coachedNo need for judge claim unless under specific conditions.
wait if we direct your kill, how does that kill scum when they least expect it? we'd be announcing that the kill was incoming, they'd 100% expect it because we'd be deciding it the day phase priorThe kill would most likely be better suited being directed anyways. It's for killing the scum when they least expect it.
was not expecting this direction from boom, wowBessie has still not given a reads list, and I don't even know, for example, her opinion on if Boo is scum or town. When I first proded her for a list she deflected and didn't even try to answer my questions and just clapped back. I was hoping the weekend would bring some good content from her but at this point I think she's just trying to keep her options open and coast to D2. Focusing on the "rolefishing" is exactly the kind of "technically scummy but not reading any nuance" stuff she focuses on when she is scum.
Vote Bessie
As usual, weekends are the worst time for me. I won't have time to make any more substantial posts this game day. Xivii Sorry I didn't get to your questions. I should be on to move my vote around and answer quick questions about 5-6 EST (three hours before deadline).
Ninja'd but the vote stands. Chaco low makes no sense, the "rolefishing" thing is so not strong evidence. Frozen low and Xivii high are also out of place, my bet is Xivii-Bessie team.
it doesn't inherently have to be told in advance, but if we were directing you it WOULD be told in advance? do you understand what I'm saying? if you never claimed, we would not be able to instruct you in the thread about who you should target and direct your kill democratically. day 2 would start and if there was no kill night 1, you would subjectively know at that point that you will be able to take your hunter shot on night 2. that would not be mod announced or anything, so only you would know that the shot could be coming on night 2. see the difference?I can't kill this night phase. So I guess I just didn't know that the Hunter's Special Power has to be told in advance.
