Anyone have any idea what the differences between the trial (is this a euphemism for beta?) and the final version of Opera?

From my understanding, if you download it before June 2007, it is free to use forever, unless it is a trial version and you have purchase it for 500 Points after the trial period, which isn't too expensive. It should be coming out by Friday, but like someone said, no official announcement has been made...really? Everywhere i've read says after June 2007 the DOWNLOAD is 500 points. Not a fee.
Be patient. Everyone is probably trying to update their Wiis, so the server is probably congested. I'm waiting until tomorrow when traffic dies down a little...I cant freakin update my wii!! Ie been triying all day an so far nothing, its updating now, but the speed is incredibly slow... Im incredibly pissed...
More likely than nothing is different. Trial just implies you can only use it free for a set period and then have to pay for continued use. I'm sure they might have updates to fix and bugs/glitches that will undoubtedly occur...Anyone have any idea what the differences between the trial (is this a euphemism for beta?) and the final version of Opera?
It's been confirmed for a US release around mid-January and will come with a Remote (with the improved strap, of course) for $49.99. However, I've read that most of the games on it aren't so great, and it plays more like tutorials on how to use the Remote rather than actual games. But for $10 more over the cost of a stand-alone Remote, it's up to you whether you want to buy it or not.dose anyone know if wii play is comming to america? i herd that when you buy a controler in europe you get it bundled and was wondering if you went to europe and bought one weather it would work for the American wii's or not? just a thought
So far as I can tell, even Nintendo's surprised by the feedback.Destiny Smasher said:It was really strange--remember a while back when Reggie said they'd have enough Wiis out that you could just walk into stores and buy them before the year was up?
The reason for this is because that's in comparison to the GC's games. Meaning, compared to all the other GC games, it's a ____whatever it got____. On the Wii, however, if they just gave it a perfect 10, that's like saying that there is NO game that could ever be better then it.Xsyven said:And if you're crying yourself to sleep due to the lack of Zelda, just get the GCN version. It got better scores anyway.
Rawr. Mine's only a 26", and it's a CRT HDTV. But I bought it with the money I earned through sweat and blood, and I like mine, so it's all good. Curiously enough, do you play Smash on your DLP? I've heard that DLP tends to lag pretty severely, making most time-sensitive games unplayable.Sensai said:And I got a HDTV. It's a DLP, 56 inches. It's nice. Now I just gotta find me some component cables, 'cause Zelda looks like ****.
What's a widget? I wonder when MP3 will come out. I can't wait to play that game.Knowing Opera, I think "trial" means they disallow downloading all the neat extras, like themes and skins and widgets 'n stuff.
Woah. That's the Best Buy I waited at.Now, should there REALLY be shortages as ridiculous as thisespecially when considering that Wiis are much less expensive and complicated to make than PS3s?
Sounds like it's the stores that are at fault, not Nintendo. Why are there not more units?
And why did my friend camp out at one only to find out that their newest shipment of Wiis was NOT being sold that day because they were going to hoard them for Christmas to lure customers in in the holiday rush?
Everyone wants one for some reason. Even the non-gamers at my school.A month after launch and lines of 200 are waiting for a huge store that has 20 Wiis?
WTF is going on?
I need advice, fast. I'm supposed to bring my Wii to the school Christmas party, but I'm worried that some idiot, there are a few in my school, will do something stupid. The party is tomorrow. If I do bring it, I'm going to either have to carry it around with me or put it somewhere all day. Should I do it or "forget"? I just recieved the request today so they wont blame me for not remembering.
Yep, it's stored to your Wii and can only be played on your Wii. The Wii saves your purchase data so that if you ever decided to delete the VC game, you can re-download it over and over. You can never lose it, unless you format the memory. Here's a quickie: If I take my Wii to my friend's house who has Wi-fi (cause I don't) and download a couple VC games, would they still be there when I bring it back to my house?
I've checked my BestBuy and Circuit City. BB is out of stock (go figure!) and CC just isn't getting them. And ZOMG, COMPONENT CABLES DON EXITS. They're literally nowhere to be found, anywhere. The only place they have them (as of right now) is Circuit City, but it's 60$, which is way too overpriced. Your best bet is to just buy them online, if you can. Play-Asia (an import store) has cheap 3rd party ones for around $14.99, and first-party Nintendo ones are around $24.99. . .Best Buy/Circuit City/Gamestop are either equally priced or more expensive.
Internet channel is out? Dammit! If I didn't have stupid relatives sleeping in my living room, I'd so go play Line Rider on my TV with my Wiimote. This is being typed with the Internet Channel. I hope they release a keyboard attachment soon but the built in word finder helps a little. Be sure to zoom in or everything will be blurry. Alright, it's time for sleep. *yawn*
I traded in Zelda:TP too
