Sanchaz, since coming to madison, I swear I have never won a singles match. There might have been one or two in there. But with hundreds of losses to maybe one win, I might as well have never won against anyone. This includes the random times you have all gone kirby, mewtwo, roy, yoshi, etc.

If any talk of any smash comes up, I want to hear about it. Fthrow -> tipper on jiggs is one of the simplest pieces of advice I have heard, but seems to help a lot.

Pick a simple character. There's no reason you should be not able to win matches if you're playing a lot. Stick with one too, don't play like 5. I don't know what you play or how many, but don't try to be the guy who plays 5 characters. Find one that feels comfortable, and from what I've seen you post, you don't seem too technical, so pick one that isn't. You'll actually get better at being technical by picking a simple character and learning how they play, which will teach you how the game moves. People always give me crap about playing sheik, but you'll honestly improve as a whole.

Characters like Fox, Marth, Falco, CF are all super technical characters that require a lot of tech skill, reading ability, and mind games. Go with something simple, get the metagame down, and you'll start to beat people really quickly.

Hey guys, I'm heading to Kenosha tomorrow (friday), but I'll be free all day long. If anyone in the area would like to play, please let me know. I realize I'm basically unknown to all of you, but I do enjoy playing melee from time to time and would like to play some quality players.

Im not far from Kenosha (im west of it by 20 to 30 mins) wanna come play?

although I work 12:30 to close both friday and saturday, so it would have to be during the evening.

I meant I'd have to stop playing at 11. I was hoping you'd be home from work and able to play much earlier than that.

On the bright side though; tonight I can make it there to play, and I can play as long as you want. So lets go with that instead if that's ok with you. What time should I aim to get there?

I'll be in Kenosha for at least 3 days. I'm visiting a friend at Carthage College, but I'll be busy most of the time.

Unless we get the org thing up ever (and I doubt we could get away with advertising to people off campus), then I have feeling the only venue we could get would be off campus. Anyone know any place in madison that could make this happen lol?

I'll be heading to Quaz's at around 9-9:30 saturday night if anyone in Milwaukee wants a ride. Heat and hopefully Chris will be there too so it'll def be worth it to come. I apologize if I'm being a total Harry Potter fanboy during the drive, since I'll have just seen it in Madison a few hours prior @.@

Well isn't that just magical! Omg it's like I have ESPN or something! Well Dairy Queen/Culver's/Frank Borden, I will be in Madison tomorrow and can maybe take you to Quaz's? But getting you back is going to be a huge pain for me, so idk.
