a pikachu using n-air
I play keyboard exclusively online and I'll step up to bat for controller anyday.
ability to tilt from a standing position on a drop-through platform without buffering
ability to walk without a delay or buffering
much easier no jump U-Air/no fastfall D-Air/
much easier shdl and (to an extent) consistent djc (though these two may just be me)
keyboard has hax DI and a dumb learning curve. That's it.

Yes it is indeed a pikachu doing a sex kick, too bad grand master chu lost his karate prowess in melee and just became gravity defying chu

I main Ness in 64. Not really sure why, but I picked him up and I really enjoy playing as him compared to the other characters.

Character: Pikachu. I was obsessed with Pokemon around the time SSB64 came out and I instantly fawned towards Pikachu, not because I thought he was the best character. The understanding of the game and technical skill came later.
Fox and Yoshi are my secondaries. I seem to be able to beat any decent or nooby player with them, but for most people above average I must use Pikachu.

I think the constant bickering about kirby being cheap has discouraged many would-be kirby mains....that or people have realized kirby is just not as fun to play.

I don't play PC.
I had a controller, but it was broken, so I couldn't DJC properly as Ness and it was just overall much less responsive (which ruined my DK), so I started playing Falcon who wasn't as precise.
