Well there was this one type of cheese that my mom got from a health food store that was pretty expensive that I LOVED. It didn't have a very strong taste but it was the kind of thing that you could just keep eating and eating. It was kinda like eating a sponge as of texture.

Other than that I like Munster. :)

I love me some cheddar. If I'm left to my own devices on a lazy weekend, I'll eat half a bar of it as my lunch. Crackers are optional. Also, I love love love Parmesan cheese on pasta. I don't ever get sauce, just lots of Parmesan. My friends think I'm crazy, but it tastes amazing, and I love it. I also like fancier French cheeses and such, but in moderation only. However, I don't like Swiss cheese except when it's on a toasted ham and Swiss sandwich of some sort. Otherwise, no thank you. I love cheese. It's the best part of the dairy food group, and probably the second best thing after chocolate found on the top half of the old food pyramid.

Top 5:

1) Irish Sharp Cheddar (it's better if it's foreign :chuckle:)
2) Bleu Cheese (not the dressing, the actual cheese, tho the dressing is good too)
3) Meunster (my fave for sandwiches)
4) White American (goes great on grilled cheese and ham sandwiches)
5) Provolone (also great for sandwiches, grilled cheese, etc.)

Honorable Mentions:
Mozzarella
Feta
Pepper Jack
Monterey Jack

I've always wanted to try Smoked Gouda, but I don't trust the stuff they sell at supermarkets. Is it worth paying the extra at a deli for it?

EDIT: Cottage cheese is pretty good, HJP, especially with tomatoes on italian bread, yummmmm.

I gotta go with Pepper Jack. Lol on the topic because I've got a friend named Brent "The Big Cheese" Larson who is literarly obsessed with cheese. He's got a so much of it in his frige at home and his favorites are provalone and cream cheese.

I hate liquid cheese. That suff smells so bad. At my job I've gotta wash dishes and when the pan of finished liquid cheese comes back I can tell what it is without even looking.
