QFT people have really got to get that through their heads. if we even do get an update on sonic it will be close to the release of brawl, since he will prolly be a secret character. we might not even get an update on him at all and would prolly have to play brawl to find out if he's in. so anyway for tomorrow, its prolly an item or an AT.

1. Reggie Fils-Aims is clearly photoshopped into the picture of Pit.

2. Why would Sakurai release this information? He's been a ****ing meiser on all the secrets of Brawl so far. This article was clearly made up just to stir speculation and create a big ruckus.

3. This article was already proved to be false. They spelled Nintendo wrong. WTF?

4. Sakurai + minions would not go through the amount of trouble it involves to put a whole character in the game BEFORE even asking SEGA if it was okay. It's just not logical.

5. And even if SEGA said okay, Sakurai wouldn't post it the day SEGA gave him the 'ol thumbs up. He would wait to have him in as a secret character, or at least wait 'till an upcoming E3 or that Tokyoshow thingamabobber.

Verdict: not real.

If it is indeed real and Sega says no,that'll be a crushing blow.I'd rather sakurai having no intentions of putting him in rather than a refusal.

I don't see any reason that SEGA would refuse. Although they are ****tards, I don't think they're THAT much out to run their own company into the ground...

Plus, 'Tendo lent Mario to SEGA to put in that Olympic game they're making with Sonic in it...why would SEGA not put Sonic in Brawl? It's the most anticipated Wii game since the Wii was released. It's just good advertising on their part.

Don't forget that Miyamoto is watching over the project.However much he (moto) wants Sonic to participate in brawl or vicea versa is questionable.It SEEMS like an easy choice,and like I've said before,if it were nay company,I'd be confident,but it's Sega.

Don't get me wrong--I want Sonic to be in the game. It's just this article is ludicrous.

P.S: It would be funny, though, if tomorrow the update was an item, and it was one of those power rings from the Sonic games...lol...

Sakurai would be kind of indirectly confirming Sonic. :)

Sonic should DEFINITELY be in there because if he isn't people will crack and there will be mass riot. Okay, I'm over-reacting but if they do, we can finally let the games begin

In fact, they might as well put the whole bunch of Sega guys. Yup, put Sonic, Tails , Knuckles and Amy(Someones gotta teach them how to use hammers). I don't think Shadow will be good, cause it will just be a copy of Sonic.

That looks vaguely familiar...lol. But in all seriousness, whatever is updated tomorrow if not Sonic will be a let down for some people.

He doesn't HAVE to be a copy of Sonic, just like Falco doesnt have to be a copy of Fox ;)

@Volrec, I think they threw Roy in there as a filler...and because they thought fans might like another Fire Emblem character, IDK...

I would actually rather have Sonic and Shadow in there than Marth and Roy...

Actually, Sonic and Tails...because yes, Shadow would be a Sonic clone.

As for this article bs Iam hearing about,Iam gonna go ahead and believe that Miyamoto and Co Got the ok from Sega 2 years ago when they started production on the son of a bytch to add you know who into the game.Trust me,hes not gonna wait after all this time to add some dude into the game 4 months prior before its release.If anything thing this late in devolopement,there doing working on things like extra features,game modes,final touches on music scores,those things.

I really never played FE but she's the only babe in the main group it seems. Her and this Ike guy are what I would want to sees as FE additions. I know Marth will be a starter because he's gonna have more Characters branching from him so I hope they update him soon. I think Ness first though, then him.
