High Def monitors
Actually, they are classified as portable HDTVs. they were not monitors of any sort, jsut had a feature to become one. Also, they did have a very slight lag, but was adaptable after playing on them for a game or so. Personally, I fell they need to change the TVs to actual monitors to eliminate possible lag for the future. I see that they are listing new TVs since the ones that were used are discontinued, but they may run into the same fate. the acer monitors they were using for tekken and the ffa for halo however, may suit the game fine and eliminate any possible lag. However, if they use the acers, they will need to buy additional attachments to convert the AV to vga input. a small price to pay to increase enjoyable play though.

It was there, but very minimal. It would only take me 1 or 2 games to adjust back and forth between them and the CRT at Razek's place.

I could've done so well but the TVs were murder to Sheik.

Edit: LOL at <3's post! Yup, he'll agree with me on the TVs
It isn't that I didn't know the mu since I have some experience lol. The tv's were murder! There were moments were the lag would spike and cause much inhibition to my game. Only in one stretch did the tv be nice to me in the oli set and in that 6 to 9 seconds I racked up 80 or more damage. Then I could no longer move fluently. It was really bad and it varied through the tvs.

Same thing for <3, he was hard reading havok but couldn't react because he was being held back. When he left the set, I had never seen him so mad. I abhor making johns but in this sense we were hurt a bit.
I feel like it was just this one TV a few other people I talk to about it seemed to feel the same. /shrug

Um... I'm very upset, but havok had the same conditions during that match and I didn't bring up my concerns until after the match so. I can't complain about his win.
I've never personally experienced lag, but sheik mains generally agree that lag ***** sheik. I hope MLG will take the above quotes very seriously. Its wrong to tamper with character viability (well... more than we already do).

Well see if they shell out bucks for it. They never got extra tvs for gears of war. Gears split screen in am bracket and only went to full screen once teams were eliminate and tvs basically freed up. I mean I hope they do but doubtful.

That's awesome. I wish I could have went, though...

Yea, but this is a lag issue, not a screen size issue. They ran Halo the same way. It's a completely different argument.

I wasn't really referring to chaingrabs since visually you can cue it up regardless. I can CG on my HDTV without the component cables (i.e. more lag) but I find it much more difficult to do some desynch's. Those are pretty tight frame wise.

But I'm no expert, maybe Marth and Shiek do get hurt more by lag.
