Paper Mario for sure! Thanks for the suggestions but I actually already have both of those games for the N64.
It's really hard to choose. :/ Yoshi's Island, Paper Mario, Phoenix Wright, 2 NES games, etc... I don't know which is the best option...
Paper Mario, should last you a while. Be sure to collect every badge!Okay, so I have 1000 Wii Points I want to use but I don't know which game(s) to buy. I already have DKC1, Super Metroid, Zelda OoT, Kid Icarus, Ice Climber, Mario Kart 64, Sonic 2 and Strong Bad's game Ep1. Any suggestions?
Is CBFD on the VC?Can never go wrong with Paper Mario
Unfortunately no . None of Rare's IP's are on the VC. Only DKC games. Is CBFD on the VC?
Well, I don't really blame Nintendo. IIRC, CBFD didn't sell that well on the 64. (iunno about the original Xbox version tho.)Unfortunately no . None of Rare's IP's are on the VC. Only DKC games.
In a recent Rare Scribes (basically a mini Q&A from Rare), they said it's likely their games will remain exclusive, but if there is a ripple in the tides we'll let you know. So I wouldn't say it's 100% impossible to see Banjo Kazooie or something, but Nintendo isn't a fan of Conker
edit- exclusive to Microsoft* that is.
I don't think Nintendo would even allow CBFD on the VC anyways. Both versions didn't sell well. But it didn't do well on the N64 because it got little no advertising. Nintendo didn't like the fact that Rare made Conker a mature character after appearing in Diddy Kong Racing/Conker's Pocket Tales.
I'd also love to see Goldeneye
A quick search through the ESRB's website shows no M-rated Wii titles that weren't disc releases. Are there any 'M' rated games available on the VC or only E-T ones?
You mean Bad Company 2, right?A quick search through the ESRB's website shows no M-rated Wii titles that weren't disc releases.
On a minor note, which is the better game, Battlefield 2 or 3?
Yeah, get BFBC2. It's a pretty good game and tons of people on the 360/PS3/PC still play the game online.Sure, why not?
Sounds good.Yeah, get BFBC2. It's a pretty good game and tons of people on the 360/PS3/PC still play the game online.
Well, trying to compare Battlefield with CoD is like comparing bricks to straw: it can't be done. The only reason why both series even gets compared to a lot because they are both "rivals" in a sense. My brother got BF3 and traded it in after two weeks. I didn't even bother trying it because it looks really unappealing. A slowed down Mw3 if you will.
Meh. I didn't like what little I played of ME2.Just a heads up: If you pre-order ME3 on Origin, you also get BF3 for free!
The deal is over, EA stopped giving the game out.Meh. I didn't like what little I played of ME2.
You are more than welcome to create said thread.Since there is no "PC" thread, I'm gonna post it here. I got an email/unique code from Gamestop for a free game. If you go into a store between now and March 19th with this code, you can get a free download of "Stoneloops of Jurassica." Pretty much a puzzle game. PM me if you are interested in the code and I will forward you my email.

I love playing through a game and knowing that I'm not playing through it in the same way someone else has. When I take on the Role in the Playing Game, I want my Role to be unique. My character needs unique accessories and armor and weapons.
Don't care about the combat system, don't care about the story, don't care about the graphics.
Let me tell you what gets me high. Take Kingdom Hearts I. You had 3 accessory slots in that game. You could synthesize accessories, but there was no single accessory that beat all the rest. You could have Titan Chains or Crystal Crowns or whatever depending on what you needed, magic or strength or health, etc.
I like the number crunching, a slow optimization of my character. A huge cache of armor and weapons and accessories with stats that are well-balanced against each other is what makes a good RPG to me.
When I found out only Goofy got 4 accessory slots and Sora had to deal with 3, I was pissed beyond measure. That was customization I'd been robbed of.
If I could have slots for shoulders, helmets, boots, socks, each of the 10 damn rings that could fit on my fingers, then I'd be happy.
And challenge is required. What's the point of meticulously playing with stats if you can't barely scrape through some boss thanks to your calculations? The point is gay, blarghrgay.
If anyone knows of an RPG that offers a personalized grindy kind of deal, be a good Internet Samaritan and make one little boy from Texas the happiest kid for the next few weeks. ****, if it's one of those J-RPGS that lasts ten years then you just made him happier. But kid wants to fight **** and collect a ****ton of items and trinkets and armor with special effects and **** that he can try out.

My TC/OP skills would make it a waste, sadly. You are more than welcome to create said thread.

You might want to try Skyrim out, tbh. The combat isn't the greatest and the story is alright but the level of variety in the game is almost unparalleled in terms of how you choose to play it. The amount of lore in the game is awesome as well. Watch this youtube review to see what you think. It's long but it's detailed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54XwUi7Hc0kSUP REPOST
I want an RPG that fits this bill.
