What are YOU getting for The Holidays?

There are a few threads on here about individuals getting presents, what to get someone, etc etc. But I noticed there are no general threads to discuss the most important part of holidays, getting!

Personally, I never know what I am getting from my mother until the day of, while my father lets me pick out the "main" gift and a few others.

I already got a chair from my grandmother, as I won't see her again until well after Christmas. Its a neat wheeled chair for my desk. I also got a few cacti for my desk, I think it goes well with my sexy monitor.

The main gift is an iPod touch. I already ordered it with my father, it is here and he has described it too me in order to make absolutely sure he got the right thing. I am fairly anxious to get to it, but not crazy/looking to find the hiding spot or anything. I ordered some plastic covers for it already. Kinda worried, I need to find a way to get my library from my XP to my Vista PC... Any help would be awesome.

Still no idea what my mother/extended family got... What about YOU?

Almost the same thing for me, but it's because I don't really have anything to wish for..

For me the thing you call a "main gift" would be a Wacom Intuos3 (a drawing board) this year..

my mom is getting me 4 ds games ( can tell from the size of the box) and something else.that's her plan.
i am going to gather the money i get from my aunts and uncles because they want to get my gifts out of the way, ask my mom for the reciepts to my games and possibly the other gift, get my broken super smash bros brawl disk and do the following:
turn in super smash bros brawl for a refund and buy a wifi router with my other money and i will finally be able to play online! If i have any extra money, i will buy a virtual console card.

Wait, when you say blacklight sensitive.. Does that mean your eyes will light up when you are around blacklights?

If that is the case, buy a blacklight, put it in your dashboard. Make it dull enough so no one can see it, but in the dark they can see your glowing eyes while you drive.

Yes, and I don't really drive [maybe once a month] so that wouldn't be very effective.

I'm incredibly jealous. My laptop just died last week, and I had to send it to get fixed... and they basically told me if it wasn't a motherboard problem, my warranty wouldn't cover it. Wtf?

Not a **** thing. But seriously i haven't got a gift since i was 16. I just told my mom it's cool and stop buying me stuff. I mean yea i get the usual 10-50$ in the hallmark cards from various uncles/aunts and the usual sweater from that one aunt that u know your never going to wear but you say thank you anyway but as far as big gifts goes that stopped a long time ago

So um yea as u can see im either really giving or really dumb cause im not getting anything. I really can't tell. But i did get myself a laptop some custom monopoly sneakers and a bunch of clothes for myself so im cool


And no im not rich. Wii-psp hustle plus refund check from school just came at the right time. And i bought the gps radio and blu ray player on black friday so the prices were nice. But to think that if i didn't get anyone a gift i actually could of gotten myself a car. I really must be dumb! But i recently left home for college and while i have no idea why i feel this way considering what i went through at home i feel like i left them behind and buying them gifts is a way that will make me feel better. Umm. ok that sounded really shallow. Arrrrrrrrrg!

I was actually offered the chance to open the iPod touch early. I only get like 15 minutes between opening it and a long drive, so they said that I should get my music on there and stuff so I don't have a blank one for travel.

I just decided to re-schedule the way things are going, so I can get at least 45 minutes to get it set up =D.
