I'm assuming the brawl singles begins shortly after sign-ups start. Cuz if it happens just like that schedule states, they're just stealing money from anybody that joins brawl singles.

wow jkun makes it sound like i actually play other fighting games

in reality i have no desire to get good at anything other than smash, but i play them every once in awhile when everyone else is playing them

Actually i'm looking for a new/creative/innovative RPG that i havent played before. RPGs are still the best

and i havent played too many so throw some ideas out there
lol sorry I didn't mean to! oops i should stfu now T__T

I don't think I'll be able to sign up for singles. I hope they have enough room and time for friendlies.

remember blaz blue is NOT guilty gear. It just uses all the character models and slightly alters them, and uses most of the gameplay elements. (cough cough)

the thing about the makers of GG is the innovative characters. also, the gameplay elements of gg are **** so why not reuse them?

blazblue is 2 good

it's like, if the market rate for melee tournies is $5, doubling it to $10 for a large tournament is reasonable. making it $15 just because you can is not. mms ftw

except we knew super champ combo was going to ****. this tournament is asking us to trust it when it's done nothing to earn it

and what major OOS is coming to this pocky, so far all i see is a couple of wa who are coming for the people more than the tourny (correct me if im wrong)

well, theoretically you set the entry amount at the start

if it just now changed, then yeah, that's bad news, but if it was high from the start, i have no problem with that

i never pay attention to that stuff anyway; more often than not, the peripheral spending for a tournament dwarfs the actual entry fee anyway

anyway

kind of cute

if you enter all 4 events, you end up paying a $20 venue fee

if you don't enter anything, you don't pay any venue fee

maybe they're trying to discourage people from entering so they can save time

edit: I guess entering everything is a $15 venue fee because doubles works weird (why would venue fee be half for someone entering doubles?)

because technically you enter doubles as a collective unit and you pay one entry cost.

i think it's kinda weird to take venue fee out of every event
i dont know how much this is going to cost to run
but brawl singles alone will bring in at least $1000 in venue fees, i'm guessing that figure is closer to $1250.
Melee singles will get $300 at least
brawl doubles will pull another $300
Melee doubles will probably get $100
so that's like a 2 grand estimate [based on numbers I admittedly made up]
