We all got a little tier ***** in us, Whats your score?

I came up with a little thing to see how people place there characters in regards to the tier list. Even people who main low tier characters most likely have high tier secondaries,and people who main high tier characters might have low tier mains to counter a few bad match ups. so where does the community land if you count there main and 2 back up characters, will it always be on average high tier, or do some people throw caution to the wind and have all low tier characters they play.

The brawl tier list is the starting point. The space between 18-19th place is the midpoint between the two half's of the list.

You pick you top 3 best characters, the ones you play the most as/best/in tourny etc

The scoring system works like so. The top half of the list has negative numbers and the bottom half has positive numbers.
[since there are 18 high spots and 19 low spots you give the high spots (+1) to there score so a -1 is -2 and a -5 is -6]
Fox is 3 to the right of the mid point so he counts as +3
Meta knight is 18 from center and on the high half so he gets a (+1) so his score is -19

Now take your stop 3 characters and find there score and post it here.
also if you seriously only play as 3 or 2 or even 1, just place that character in the other spots and multiply the score.

you also cut the score of your second and third character in half, so someone who main metaknight would have to second with ganon and link to get back to neutral. same for someone who mains ganon, but secondaries with metaknight and snake.

My list goes like so.
Main.........secondairy...............................................third
Fox +3 + Marth -13(devide by 2 to get 6.5) + Ice climbers -9(devide by 2 to get 4.5)= -8 on the high tier side.


I main Fox, but have Ice and Marth as back ups which all the are either middle or mid high tier, so my score is a bit below neutral on the scale.

basicaly, take your 3 best characters, get the score of your main, and put it with half the score of your secondairies. if its posative, you mostly play lower tier, if its negative, you mostly play higher tier.

Snake (-18?)... Metaknight... (-9.5)... King Dedede (-6.5)... Totals out to -34. As SaltyKracka said in the B- chat: "You tier *****". Beyond MK and DDD, I third marth, DK, and Bowser. Still not that ideal.

DK is a second so -1.
Falcon is my best/fun char. so +17.

DK would have a -0.5 and Falcon would have a 8.5.

(-8) + (-0.5) + 8.5 =

In tourney, I go all Peach, so my score = 1. Unless you want to count my secondary Zelda too, though I never use her in tourney, which would give me a score of 5,5.

What about Multi characters? I get that Pokemon Trainer would just be a +9 but what if you play Zelda/Shiek as a single character? Do you take +6 for Shiek, +8 for Zelda, + 14 for both or +7 for halfway between the two?

Hrmm... I'm fearsome with Ike, but Samus and Link are both awesome matches for my play style. I'm developing my abilities with Snake and Lucario, but they're still works in progress.
Anyway, the final verdict is:

Link (18)+ Samus (15) + Ike (10) = 43
Divided by 3, that makes... 14.3333. An insanely high score, I suppose, but I've never been one to obey the tiers - I just go with what feels good to me.

I sorta dual-main. I main MK and Falcon. My MK is better at... uhhh... winning, obviously, but my Falcon is more on-par with competative Falcons......
So I'll just tweak things for two fulls and one half.
MK: -19
CF: 17
Falco: -8

So, thats -10, right?

I personally don't pay attention to the tiers. I just play whoever's fun to use, but I can't believe Ganon's at the bottom of the worst. That's a shock to me...he can be pretty amazing when I'm playing well.
