Blue Rogue, I watch your videos against TL and I like the way you played those.
Some tips?
When he gets you in those positions where you're shielding or on the ground and he's Nairing, Zairing, and Baring trying to put on shield pressure and calling your rolls, try up-B OoS. It sounds stupid, but it works pretty well.
You played really horizontally, try spacing him vertically. Bait some Upsmashes, take advantage of his stupidly slow Upair.
Play up in his face like you were until you get to kill percentage. Then just run away and make him approach. His projectiles will definitely damage you, but you'll never die unless you make a move.

I like the things I saw though. I plan on stealing a lot of it.

Don't. He can easily DI out and punish anyway, and most of TL's aerials can be spaced to the extent of making upB OoS not a viable option. With ease.

No one really SDI's it fast enough to punish it properly. And even if he did, what is TL going to do? You can maneuver away from upsmashes and his aerials do 10% at most. You'll most likely just get poked with a Zair and take 4%. It's worth it for getting yourself out of that situation where TL is floating around you while you're stuck in your shield.

Seriously I play this matchup all the time against a once PR'd TL. I works, just don't do it too often.

Upb, Dair, Usmash. DACUS. Good people SDI out of them, Godly people SDI out of them fast. Some great players don't try that hard sadly

Well then it's just a matter of regional bias then I guess. I've never had anyone ever SDI out of my Dair. I've played just about every good player in New England and no one SDI's out of anything really.

I'm sure if someone brought it to their attention they might put some time into learning it, but it's just not really something people have started doing here.

Since they have small enough hurtboxes they're not even SDIing out, they're just regular DIing out since dair doesn't really have hitstun (except the last hit has a little).

Granted, I noticed that I lost every match against him that he used IC's, beat him every time he didn't go IC's, and beat his IC's when we were first met in winner's bracket.

I really should have done better, was essentially making the same mistakes over and over, and to be honest, I can't really explain it without johning so I am just gunna not say anything unless saying "I sucked, gotta get over it" isn't a john XD

@Asa make sure you limit your risk. It's better to be safe than MK than sorry. If you think you will get punished for a move just don't do it. Also lay off the fsmash you're fsmashing too much MK can punish it pretty easily. Also punish and land your wafts. That is essential in this match. Look for patterns in their camping so that you can punish.

@ 0:35 you got grabbed and you decided to mash like crazy even though the platform was almost there. Always think about whether or not you should mash.

So many whiffed fsmashes, you don't HAVE to kill them at 110%

And that's all I have to add because I'm tired mwahahaha bad reviews ftw

Chair is right. Just wait on SV for the platform to save you from taking % from GR.

Try not to use too much your FSmashes while Marth is in the ground he can punish you REALLY well from it.
You did'nt use Bair at all on this match, which is a bad flaw, Bair is awesome on this matchup you should space a bit more with it instead of DJ Dair or FH Dair.

Also get a little greedy offstage against Marth he's recovery is kinda predictable abuse from it and get some good offstage pressure/gimp.

You should use a little moe Nair OoS while in close combat with against Marth its a great option if not the best here.

DS OOS is better against dairs on shield than nairs. Wario's hurtbox like, disappears on the ground and it doesn't hit as long on shields b/c it's only one hit. However, nair makes it easier for them to grab you, so, like everything, you gotta mix it up. Also, fair is good against everybody.
