@Asa

Try to vary more between punishing with nair and grab. Nair doesn't really have excellent follow-ups at higher percentages, so if possible just grab instead.

Don't just throw tires away, especially against MK!

Don't stress getting back onstage, take your time.

Don't overestimate the landing lag of nado.

Your dairs suck (qua spacing, canceling).

Stop whiffing fsmashes.

Stopped looking after match 2, should be learning right now. That's also why I'm not really going in-depth, my apologies.

Space better punish better stop being so aggresive man. FF your nairs also. Also is there any reason why you're pummeling to get out of yoshi's grab when the platform is so close to you? Work on edge guarding and plz stop leaving your bike on the stage.

Your use of your double jump is good though Asa, I have the same issues you have with the use of it though. Like getting too dependent on djff dairs. Like me, you gotta learn to mix it more. We also share the same issue on wafts. Although I have to say you seem to struggle a little more with it, like in that match against mk, the first match, you knew he was going to do a dash attack, shoulda shield it or spotdodged it into fart seeing as you were right on the bike and it would have hit him. against yoshi you called so many airdodges and used a bair instead of a waft.

MK makes you jump a lot to, but something that helped me a lot, sometimes you don't have to move. Remember that you are always being read with every movement, if you stop, they stop reading you. And against mk, i know this is hard believe me you and I play the same, you have to camp...lol. We're just not bassem or PX, you and I have to camp until we know MK like the back of our hand and then go aggro cause we'll know what they want to do.

I'll definitely miss that thread but I see that this thread is indeed more active than it was. so I guess you should. I got sooo much better from that thread though, cause what I like aobut it very much is that you post vids of SPECIFIC MUs and you would also try to MM people to get some MUs displayed. It was a great thread indeed.

holy ****, so I watched those vids and I gotta say that was **** good spacing. I hate pika's usmash that forces us to momentum cancel, then we just eat a thunder, lol.

Ok, well, my set against KPrime's Pikachu finally went online. I haven't seen them yet, but I THINK I played really well, haha.

What do you guys think, btw, now that this thread is active, should I just lock the aggro wario video thread? It's not a project I'm going to get around to finishing anymore anyway.
Seriously mangz teach me your ways.

What wayz? D: I'm retired, thus garbage :)

I think my favorite parts in those videos were the mindgame waft (2nd one in first game, for the victory), and the platform assisted bite, haha.

PX.

You can jump out of FThrow > ReGrab. Also you can jump out from his Fthrow > USmash after 20%. Those videos should be used in exemple of the good use of the Bite. Seriously, I saw 1 or 2 missed bites and they didn't even bring you problems.
Good use of Nairs from you are now quite common lol, Nair >Jab for shield pressure then FSmash was just pretty nasty too, I laughed on KPrime's attempt of plank and you just Dair'd him and stage spiked him. Full Hop FF Dairs maked Pikachus % went up really fast and so did Fair > Bites as well.

Didn't find any compromissing flaws, really good matches by the way.

Actually, you can't jump out if they buffer it correctly (throws are only guaranteed until alike 30%). I was mashing jump in all of those situations :\ I even tried DIing into him in some friendlies later to see if I could footstool him, and that didn't work either. If they do it correctly we can't avoid any followups until like 70%

Silly Legendary, I don't place high, I don't even play singles :)

When PX said he practically invented nair, he meant it, lol. The use of nair in those matches was ridiculous I had to steal that. It works such wonders.

Haha, how do I teach something like that? Like, learn how long the hitbox lasts and where it hits, and then use it... A LOT. It's such a good move.

If you learn how to buffer out of it when you land on the ground it becomes even better.

what do you mean pado? We still don't do it, lol. That practially lagless ending if we just wait a bit then nair is too godly, I **** people with that. Favourite combo stolen from blue rogue is dthrow read spotdodge to nair and buffered dash attack and cancel it. Feels too good.

I saw your matches against Arty earlier, I'm not going to give a full review (no time) but I can tell you are getting grabbed below 40% WAY too often. WAY. You try stuff like close quarters at low percentages, why? Why are you doing that to yourself? Don't try to fsmash at random just because you had a nice string. It is more profitable to get hit by bairs for 40% and dealing 20% to Falco than dealing 40% to Falco while getting chaingrabbed > techchased in return.

You saw what happened on iirc Lylat Cruise, you had a fine lead but you couldn't prevent getting grabbed by playing the way you did. Bye lead. Boring though it is, you MUST camp those early percentages. You got yourself a platform, use it, feed it, love it. You should NEVER get grabbed by Falco if you really don't want to (after 40%, you are free to shieldcamp as much as you like, he doesn't really have nifty stuff on Wario after that). Don't get grabbed, every time you take 60+% because you failed to camp properly, a part of my soul dies.

TL;DR: Don't get grabbed, my god every time that happens think of that beautiful one-liner.

lol believe me, im not patient enough to do that. i'm really bad at singles but i still place really well even though i dont really care for them. im more a doubles player so im just kinda all aggression and no camping. but i appreciate you telling me all this stuff hombre. i think once i dont mess up the cg, my style will be fine :bee:
