I just had a thought... You know you can weave a dair while it's hitting... If you weave out of it right before the last hit, you should be able to combo it into a uair! I don't have my wii on me ATM but I would like someone to help me test that out... It could also possibly combo into the otherwise horrible UpB for 19% damage. I know that dair can combo into uair at low %, but at anything over 30% the last hit of dair does too much knockback to combo...

I played against Trevonte a lot when I was down in norcal in July. It's pretty hard for Fox to deal with a ton of pressure, most of the time he'll want to play keep away and shoot a lot of lasers. When you're at killing percent, just don't do anything laggy or you will get Usmashed. Watch for surprise usmashes too, it's a really fast move.

oh yeah I have a question... does jumpsuit Wario have any actual advantages over biker Wario? with biker Wario I can see when I have farts ready, but thats about the only difference between the two as far as I know...

You should have farts ready when it's been around a minute & like 59 seconds max or something (Someone correct me if I'm wrong)
When you are flashing your fart does 40% and doesn't have as much kill power + You can potentially kill yourself by launching yourself past the blastzone. When it is fully charged, the top of Wario's head can kill but that is harder to land than the not fully charged one imo

you have a good waft after like 0:58 and it continues to get better up until about 1:56-57

after that its horizontal knockback drops dramatically but the vertical knockback increases if you hit from underneath

also jumpsuit wario does nothing besides look cute
and ive actually used the shirt trick when i lost track of my waft time

actually, reverse it. Jump Suit has the smaller hitbox

I personally don't think there is any difference between the jump or biker suit. As for the belly button that sticks out when Wario has a fart ready, his opponents can also see it.

I know every single thing there is to know about farts... I just prefer not having to calculate minutes and seconds when I'm in the middle of a match... I can always make a safe guess as to when I have a fart ready and all... I just like the look of biker outfit and like the option of checking the belly button for my farts.

EDIT: the possible hitbox/hurtbox differences is something interesting that I'd like to see tested if someone would oblige :D

it depends on the distance you throw it at as well, which is a problem because it's probable Wario only gets a frame advantage when he's too far away to do anything.

Oh... dang. Does it depend on the distance because the shieldstun depends on the tire's velocity or something?
Basically it's like this:

If you are point blank range and toss the tire at the opponent in any way: aerial, grounded, glide toss any direction, etc Wario is definitely at a frame disadvantage. At medium range, you might have a tiny advantage or neutral. At this range, you can't get any free hits cause you are too far away. From much further way, you definitely have the advantage but it evaporates because you can't follow up on it.

Your best bet for getting a frame advantage on someone with a tire is this: Start between medium and long range. Glide Toss forward and time your actual tire toss to first start somewhere near medium or right after that. Then try to grab or hit opponent with advantage. Even this has flaws however because to set it up well you have to travel at a speed close to what the tire is traveling which means a lot of times you might be right next to the tire when it gets to their shield and someone with good reflexes could just Upb or quick useage of an attack to hit you as you lag sliding to them.

Quick question: how do you do that thing where you cancel an aerial to instantly land on a platform? I think that may be the next step in my Wario: Evolution. I've been doing it on accident more and more, where can I find some info on the subject? Help would be appreciated :)

Yes and grats to Bassem and Krystedes! I've been watching them on the livestream, good job they kick ***!

Edit: It didn't take me long at all to figure out how to do, and so far I've only been able to do it on the platform on Smashville. As of now I am calling it the "Omega Factor", where you cancel an aerial onto the platform with no lag and can do anything.

The most useful thing I've found is Omega Factor out of a ledge jump (hanging on the ledge and pressing jump, not a ledge hop). It would be so tight to use that to a speedy bite right behind the opponent or something haha. Maybe a platform drop Uair? Other useful things I've found are really simple, like Omega Factor to grab or Fsmash.

Glancing at the clock isn't a problem. Think of this: "I used a waft at 6:32, the clock now says 4:52, if subtract the time, given that there are only 60 seconds in a minute, so not calculating in decimals, do I have a half waft now? How much time do I have before it becomes a full waft, if I waft now, will it kill him?"
That's my mental process. If I could cut out the calculation bit at the beginning, it would help. Now go on and stop hating.

Dang Bassem you were wrong rafe

Krystdez has some tough ones. Zac knows the Wario matchup too well, I didn't expect him to win unless he had a super good G%W in his area. Trela as well is pretty hard to beat: I only beat him cause Im a *** and run away lol

I may think a little too much about my farts, I dont wanna use it and it doesnt kill, yet I want to use it before it goes to full waft, and I wanna get % up to a decent level before using it etc...
fart calculation :p

...huh? disagree... unless if you have a mental timer or something
Actually, he is rather right. After playing Wario for THIS long I feel that I know how long it takes for a minute to pass or when I have my fart again. Its not 100% reliable, but its still a skill. Wario and I have a deep connection. ;)

Developing that mental timer will benefit you in the long run, having to look at the timer is an inconvenience, a small one, but unnecessarily disadvantageous nonetheless.

I'd rather look at the timer everytime. All of us, specially the ones that play Wario for a long time can have some intuition of it, but I'd RATHER be more accurate. It should help on quick decisions and when you forget to look at the timer.

its better to keep a mind-tracked timer so that you can more instantly pull off farts that WILL hit, rather than having to look at the time every time before you make that decision to fart. (which might miss because you had to look, or you might lose the opportunity altogether)

I generally look at the time, guesstimate when the next time I shall use it will be, and keep that in mind while I'm fighting. I don't look at it right when I need a fart or right when I want to take advantage and punish someone.

It's a good idea to keep a good internal mind clock AND look at the time as a reference when you have a moment to breath.

It sucks when you forget what time your fart is at haha xD like you get it one second off or something and you're like "Mother F*****er!" they go flying from the little poot lolol.

My favorite thing to do is what I call the "Squeaker Trap", basically when you try to fart someone and they hit you right as you let it go, it cancels your fart right? I usually just make sure by farting away from the opponent, and if they try to punish you while you are standing there scratching your head, you miiiight be able to get a fsmash in while they run at you haha!

I actually have Dyscalculia, So I never knew when i had a fart when i first started playing wario.

I bought a watch and set it to vibrate every minute and ten seconds.

Now i just know.

also for those who dont know what Dyscalculia does.

i would look at a clock (in brawl) that reads 6:30 and would see it as "0:36" or some other variation. Now its just instinct

When playing Wario it's important to have the right state of mind. You first must be patient. Then you must be able to space well. Then punish. You also need to know when to punish and when not to punish. It's not the moves that are important as much as it is your control over your character and knowing your options. The rest will come later but it's key to have the right state of mind.
