this is pretty decent (GaWs position) except Pikachu is better than GaW. Bcause even though you dont really hear about many Pikas doing well in majors (and you really only hear of UTD Zac as far as GaW is concerned anyway), the character has more ATs and less predictability and stuff.

I like your list because GaW isnt right next to Pit. Good job.

Well I don't know about top 5. I was mainly referring to things said on this page. tbh I didn't really check to see why you were even discussing ICs.


Things like saying their desync game is bigger than their grab game.

If by "bigger" you mean "more important", then no, it isn't. There are a TON of matchups where desynching is ineffective or outright detrimental. Mostly item-spawning or projectile-using characters. In these cases ICs MUST rely on their natural abilities and chaingrabs, particularly chaingrabs as they are our single tool that can turn the tide of any game, even solo. There are plenty of cases where relying on desync traps will get you or Nana comboed, eg vs ROB. Whereas the performance of CGs are more or less consistent across the cast.

Although, that's not to say desynching isn't big. It is, and some matchups revolve around it (Diddy, given a couple of prerequisites) or just find it an overall more effective tactic (Ganon - he literally has nothing). Glenn is definitely right to say ICs are so much more than chaingrabs. Just saying, desynching is definitely up there, but it's not above CGs.


And then there's the stuff that Alzi says. But I think it goes without saying we should just ignore him anyway.

btw, I think 5th for ICs is very solid, I wouldn't put them higher atm considering the competition but they're definitely not lower. But I won't go into that, that's not what this is about. Anyway the current tier list is very solid in general, nothing I can really disagree with despite a few surprises.

hmmmmmmmm if in the whole perth scene your saying we have one/two good players id hate to see where you fall in comparision, not very high im guessing. yea glenn hell sucks with ice climbers thats why hes taken sets of ric and vlade and actually taken games of sam which every1 else failed to do at rocky, you know just throwing it out there. Im not saying glenn is amazing or anything but he obviously has a decent amount of skill at this game and does not suck.

i havent played Munchkin yet, but i really do want to. i've watched it being played partially, since i was switching between Mario Party and Munchkin, in which both groups i didnt really belong. i dont particularly like being around drunk people. lol. and i didnt know jack **** about Munchkin so i just stood there not knowing what was going on.

as for Dittos. Ganon takes the cake.

depending on the stages, you should've just approached him over the platforms and such rather than playing Rock Paper Scissors. Obviously that's what i'd do because Ganon cant camp for crap. Mix it up even and chase him with a PKT as long as he's not too close or something. but i dont know, usually the most general scenario i can think of is you approaching, pulling out the magnet because he is most likely going to PKF and continue on and FHDair, nair or fair. dont listen to me though. i dont know much. it's just my thoughts on the matter.

Lucas can't approach another Lucas from above as FH Dair has enough ending lag to be punished if shielded, which aerial approaches usually are... If you're running over a platform, you'll be Utilted...

PKT can be absorbed (lol offstage gimp, soz Glenn + Marty ), and PKT2 is predictable even if it's a thunderslide
