I go to Rosemount bowl on fitzgerald street its $7 a game.
Okay, so everyone cool with the 30th January still??? Now we can have it during the day as well, so how about a 12:00 start time (arrival at like 11.45am or something like that)???

going by that theory, i've stayed on the same step for a long time, or am climbing a flight of stairs.
And I'm in the molten core of the Earth assuming someone built steps to there :p Occasionally I go up a couple of steps, though :p

To be honest I don't think any character is easy to play at a high level
Metaknight is an easy to learn, hard to master type of character to me... Most of his moves aren't easily punished and his recovery is ****ing crazy, which means mistakes don't generally bend you over for 50% combos or gimps like on some other characters, but learning which move is BEST to use in situations is harder as a lot of his moves have very different knockbacks and uses, and using the "wrong" (not best :p) one a lot of the time means racking up damage, and thus killing, becomes harder...

MK offstage is broken though :p

teach me the way of the weegee gogo
Aerials and Shoryukens and you win... Don't let Pete suck you in with this jab-->shoryuken BS, I've still yet to see it actually work :p When he can show me, I will change my advice ^^

So yeah I ask everyone not to hog it, if you've already had a set recorded then please try and let everyone else have a turn with it if they wish.
Does anyone else have a recording setup that they can bring??? Getting two setups to have recordings might be the way to go since our turnouts are getting bigger, and this way there'll be half as many people waiting to record... I personally don't mind if my matches get recorded - I feel I'm at a stage now where I can still recognise major flaws and patterns in my game whilst I am playing them, so I don't need a video to overload me with the minor ones until I can fix the major ones... like running into kill moves... *sadface*

BTW big thanks to Kane for putting up with us last night - in a nutshell: Diddy is broken, Lucas is one massive euphemism, Munchkin is hilariously evil, and Clerics are the **** :p

Olimar is easier imo and has less of a learning curve_ Take it form someone who played Olimar successfully and fails with more skilful characters_ He is a very strong choice don't get me wrong, but he is easy to pick up and play well_ Metaknight has more to learn in the long term imo regardless of how easy he is to 'pick up' i feel he has a larger learning curve in comparison to say Olimar_

Really enjoying ZSS again and would love to learn more of her *looks at Glenn for training*_ Been too addicted to Borderlands lately tbh, such a fun game i honestly forgot how good it is to play games in HD on higher performance consoles_

@Bob use the suit pieces, sweet spot the side B, use up-B when they are in the air.
That's how I played Zamus.

And if someone tells me how to setup the recording match thing I can do it for my wii. Id most prefer to be able to record matches over 2mins. Comentary can com later :p haha

Guys, ignore Jesse's comments about not seeing it work. He's clearly suffering from post-traumatic stress syndrome, and forgetting the ones I did to him. :p

What I learnt from Kane's smashfest is that M2K is right about Diddy being an MK counter. Once I have enough space from the MK, I get 2 naners out, one in my hand, one inbetween me and the MK and start popping some peanuts. I think Kane and Andre will vouch for me that there are very limited options for the MK when put in that situation and it isn't hard to set up. Even on Battlefield, which used to be a stage I couldn't really work with, it works really well and is now my favourite stages.

The only thing I can see MK doing when diddy has that kind of stage control is tornado really, and diddy is more than happy to shield that all day and punish it with a banana to **** combos.

That's exactly what I said

Metaknight essentially doesn't have any safe options when diddy has that stage control. I guess he could go for like a mindgame SHAD behind diddy but I dunno

True. Diddy's shield is weirdly awesome and isn't poked easily. During some of my matches against Kane, he would yell out when he was nado'ing my shield. 'How good does your shield want to be?!?!' I lol'd

From what I remember Pete, they all hit my shield after I put it up after the jab - the only shoryuken you got on me was the one I rolldodged into (I think that might have been Trav though :S)...

Diddy Kong
Loud, audible sighs were abundant from pretty much everyone at Kane's smashfest who played Brawl with Andy :p Apparently there is such a thing as too much Diddy Kong - I'm a very calm and collected kinda guy, but I was pretty much giving up every time something hit me by about 11pm (when we stopped to play Munchkin xD)

Actually you can tornado and if he shields it you can retreat to the ledge or near the ledge so even if he hits you with a banana you get pushed onto the ledge and don't take more then 3 percent or so. Diddy Kongs shield is so **** good (because he tucks himself inward when hes shielding so it makes him have a smaller hitbox :p ) that you're not going to poke him through it if he angles his shield correctly if his shield is full or near full.

Well I just spent about 30 mins of Wifi for TvC, from my experience

Match 1) Someone with a crap connection spamming hadouken, was hard to get past due to lag.
Match 2) Someone with a decent connection, few lag spikes and minor input lag, he barely won with Lighton, which is funny considering I was meant to be ranked up with people my level, I was a rookie and he was classed as pro. Still almost won
Match 3) Same person as 1, same tactic, fml
Match 4/5/6) Finally, someone with a good connection, played the game properly with no spamming, and was overall a fun time, he won 2/3 games but I was actually impressed at the Wi-Fi, far superior to brawls although I did notice a little lag but nothing to major.

So there we go, TvC wifi is playable =D

Oh another thing I liked was the Rival system, basically after a match you can add them to the rivals, I'm not quite sure what it does but it has a nice little icon saying how many rivals are online, Im yet to know if you can request matches with them :p

I honestly didn't see that end part of Vlade's sentence.

Yeah Marx i use to play Apollo online alot he was the only regular person who actually gave me a challenge on wifi with proper play and good conection. I still saw him stuff up some things online though so i really want to vs him offline one day.

Marteh i am buying TvC tommorow WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I saw some wifi games on youtube about 2days ago it seemed good and i like how you can re-match the person.

Brawl's wifi is playable aswell if you have GOOD INTERNET CONNECTION. Heck my connection is better when playing Apollo then playing Vlade. And Apollo lives over east and Vlade only lives 10 minutes or so away from me.

GET READY BECAUSE I AM BRINGING OUT THE BATSU IN TVC.

English version of Rolls' theme for all us fanboys
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gdlubU2ajAA
Although the lyircs are pretty lame, see instead of
"Look into my heart, this is where it starts, is it meant to be away, want to believe"
I'd be like
"Got a f*cking broom, coming after you, after some sick combos use the mopbucket of doom"

Seriously we all must play this great fighter =D

You won't win doubles again because this time it's sam and ric not sam and mic.

I think it's because i am buying TvC tommorow and i've been ultra hyped up for this game. I will be the same when Super mario galaxy 2 and zelda wii come out.

I think Bob is also getting TvC so i will get your friend code bob once you have it.
