Wob was banned in Gen IV. Nobody cares about Gen IV's tierings. This was Gen V.

And you also forget Shandy and Wob aren't the only two with Shadow Tag.

What's interesting about your argument is that you used Smogon's tiering system to validate not banning it, yet I'm pretty sure you've talked about how little you care about what Smogon's doing with the tiering on at least one occasion. Just pointing that out.

Because this time I actually plan to ladder to the point I can partake in these votes.

I'm already on Page 1 of the Smogon ladder, and the highest ranked member on Smashboards. I just have to grind up more points to get to voting.

What changed in Gen V that made Choice Items useless?
Choice Items were carried over from Gen 4.
The aspect that Wobuffet was banned for is still existent in Gen V.

BTW, what server do you play on? Does Pokemon Lab have Gen V yet?
In Pokemon Online the rankings i've seen are always, e.x. 500/145698 or something like that. Not the old CRE rating in smogon.

@ Fuelbi: Suspect voting. I don't know if we know how they're going to do it this time around, but if it's anything like before then he's taking a step toward doing it right.

Further steps include keeping his *** there on that list, being innovative when creating new teams, doing well in gen V tournaments, and doing well on the eventual Suspect ladder.

@ Moose: Encore was reduced to 3 turns. Pokemon Lab still doesn't have gen V. Smogon now officially uses PO.

I use either the standard PO server or Smogon, depending on how full the former is.

You need to right click on your name and click view ranking to see your CRE.

My current CRE s 1285 (yes that's all you need to be safely on page 1, I'm not just barely hanging on there either), which gives me a ranking of 35/5721

Darn. I loved trying to hit 1450 CRE before I lost a match on Shoddy. I only did it once successfully(stupid hax) but still its fun.

Turns out Wobb isn't banned on PO's server yet, and neither is Deoxys.

I decided to run Wobb which garners me atleast 1 free kill, or an Encore so I can switch to Chomp to set up. And Deoxys, with its 438 speed, great movepool and fantastically high Atk and SpAtk, coupled with LO, make it arguably the best revenge killer that's not Uber.

In fact so far only Dory has given me trouble. That thing is going straight to ubers.

Natt can't do much back beyond Power Whip, which is neutral on it.

Any dorry, even jolly balloon dorry, can 2hko 252/252 relaxed natt with EQ after a swords dance.

Iron fist Mach Punch Fist Plate Roobushin is my answer to Dorry, although you need to come in on the SD or revenge kill. I actually do not mind Dorry, it's just Shadow Tag Shanderra that gives me trouble as I do not want to run Shed shell on my Nat, and I won't ever.

Yes it's my choice to run lefties, but it is still anoying as it comes in on a good portion of the metagame and says "Go to bed"

Also Terakion IS BEAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Takes even SE hits like champ.

...What? Iron Fist MP CB Roop still leaves Dory with like 2 HP to spare after SR... I guess you could be weakening it first, but that would require it not getting a free switch-in on a Choiced Earthquake or something.

1. Is not in a sandstorm
2. has not used Swords Dance
3. Is in a sandstorm after a swords dance?

Are there any previous Ubers that you guys think that will make it into OU?
After some more playing I think Latias might stay.
