Waddup munchkins!?!

From May 11th - May 13th there will be a LAN held for Charity at La Trobe University - Odeon Building in Bundoora. The guy running it has been gracious enough to give us space on the Saturday to hold a tournament.

This tournament will be held for charity alongside the actual LAN itself and I'm planning on making it a chilled, not-so-serious environment without much competitiveness so people will Just Enjoy It.

There is no time limit on the Saturday, we can start anytime and finish anytime so we can make the most of our day.
An idea is to still have Singles/Doubles with some mixed up rules (Top 5 characters banned or lolstages on for example) for both games then something different like Items On, Low Tier, Crew Battle or 4-man Crew tournament etc.

These are just ideas at the moment but something will be confirmed in the very near future.

So anyway...

Saturday May 12th
A schedule is yet to be released but it will be an early start and if people can be bothered, a late finish.

LOCATION

Odeon Building - La Trobe University, Bundoora

COST

It will be a $20 entry fee for all smashers, $30 for anyone wanting to participate in the LAN events. Just mention that you're here for smash and they will know what to do.

Remember that this is for charity but $5 will be taken from your entry fee and added to the prize money.

There will be no tournament entry fees.

PRIZE

At the moment the idea is to return the entry fee to the top 5 or so winners of said tournaments, but if we can come up with something better we will update it.
If we can get more than 15 entrants for smash, the guy running the LAN has promised to throw in an extra $50.

If it's just wc3 Dota I have wc3 and 6.74 DotA on my usb
Just need computers and some LAN cables or whatever
If theres wireless internet we can get 5 players and go online

idk if we can get Dota2 working. I don't have a betakey, or a computer with working Steam Account.
So anyone in that situation is kinda ****ed. At the very most I could use a spare computer and a friends account, I'm very bad at using Steam.

i didn't expect there to be 10 people playing DotA, wasn't sure how big this LAN is.
Usually just a few sillies playing Warlock on wc3 engine... which is fun for like half an hour.

If we get 10 people im content with LAN, plus we can balance players after one or two games and then every game will be really close.
