-I don't care for Ridley at all. Make him playable, stage hazard, boss, Assist Trophy, etc. I really don't care. I rather this guy to get executed by Sakurai or get confirmed now rather than later.

-Palutena can be unique, but her uniqueness doesn't excite me at all. I kept thinking about what she could do in this game and she just seems incredibly boring compared to other characters. I'm not even a fan of the character; she came off as a ***** to me in Uprising. Doesn't matter anyway since she's a shoo-in.

-I only want the Gematsu leak to be real because Shulk is listed in it. He is the only character listed in it that I care about (and Little Mac and Villager, but they're confirmed).

-The new DOJO!! is horrible. I miss the informative posts by Sakurai as it helped bring the hype all throughout until Brawl's release. I suppose the Pic of the Day is better than nothing, but it heavily pales in comparison to what we got during pre-Brawl.

-I find that Melee vs. Brawl debates to be pointless. Why fight over which game is better? Can we just respect each other's opinions and move on? Personally, I like every game equally for what they are and I can't choose a favorite. I think that as a community, we should work on trying to stop these from occurring. I do believe that some threads are made on here just for the sole purpose of baiting a Melee vs. Brawl debate.

Smash 4 needs more dragons.

Spyro, Tiki (or any other Manakete or a Dragon Laguz), Ridley, Tamagon, Czar, Hooktail, Valoo, Blue-Eyes Whit Dragon, or just any dragon in general are all acceptable choices.

I know Wii Fit Trainer is beating a dead horse at this point, but something I see often still kind of annoys me.

A justification for her is usually that Wii Fit sold so well so of course we'd get a character from that game. Here's the thing: Wii Fit isn't about characters. Nobody who ever played Wii Fit felt any sort of affinity towards the trainers. They aren't meant to garner fans. They're specifically designed as basic figures resembling the human form with no real personality traits so that they do not provide a distraction. I'd bet my house that not a single extra copy of Smash 4 will be sold because of Wii Fit Trainer. Nobody thought "Hey, I loved Wii Fit! I can't wait to play as the trainer!". It might be worth considering that if a character was never ever seriously suggested, there might have been a reason for it.

They should announce a Wii U version of Dark Souls 2 at E3, complete with Miiverse integration, and then announce Solaire of Astora as the obligatory Bandai Namco representative for Smash Bros 4.

Praise the Sun!

-Ridley shouldn't be expected to become playable. Not this time, and likely not next time either. Most likely, we'll then get a new Metroid character we haven't yet seen before. Or Anthony Higgs. Just cause.

-Everything about Sheik is wrong in this game. Her being a separate character irks me even more than when she was Zelda's Down B. Despite that, I think they did just about everything right for Zelda. Bouncing Fish and the Burst Grenades look very uninspired to. And I mean, very! Impa would've made for a way better separate character, and Sakurai knows this!

-Ike is still the coolest Fire Emblem character ever. And all suggestions for new characters suck. Anna and Avatar / Robin are easily some of the worst suggestions I feel. Sure, they'd be more unique than Chrom and Lucina, but that's about it. It's Ike or nobody for me. Chrom can get in along with Ike, and hell, I'd even LIKE his inclusion for what it's worth. Just don't **** with Ike.

-All newcomers so far don't really interesst me much. Rosalina was interessting, but I won't play her. Little Mac's inclusion is justified, but I'd rather beat him up than fight as him. And that goes for all others to. I am not interessted in playing any of them, outside of Event Matches or related stuff.

If the Sal leak is true I'm most likely going to end up disappointed with the Chorus Men's inclusion. The main reason is because unlike every single other fighter in the Smash series they don't seem to serve any significant purpose.

Unlike all of the other "WTF" characters, their series isn't largely popular (like Wii Fit) and they don't have any historical significance (like R.O.B. and G&W).

They feel random for the sake of being random, which doesn't bode well with me considering Smash Bros is supposed to be a series about Nintendo All Stars.
I also think they are underwhelming choice, due to their incredibly uninspiring character design and lack of charm. I'm aware of the fact they could easily bring something fresh gameplay-wise, but just like the Miis, I don't think that is enough to make them quality additions.

- If we get Adam, Anthony or any other Metroid: Other M character as a Metroid representative instead of Ridley, I will skin myself and bathe in a bathtub filled with sulphuric acid.
- Characters that are too heavy and lack any exploits are always prone to becoming low-tier. I like the Bowser changes but I still don't really expect him to be viable.

I think I have the mother of unpopular opinions. I think the GameCube controller is mediocre, and Smash scene would do well to leave it behind.

I play a lot of fighters on arcade stick as well as melee on GC controller, and I'm used to having a button for every finger so you can access them all at the same time or one frame apart. On GC, the Y and B buttons are like an inch apart, and the C stick is like three miles away. It's just a mess.

I've brought this up to melee players and they're like "nah dude just contort your arm like a T. rex and us your thumb sometimes flip your hand and use your index finger so you can reach the c stick with your thumb." They're just proving me right basically but they've been playing Smash the same way for so long they really don't care if its good since they've invested so much time and literal pain into it.

I'd be open to some arguments about how it's a good controller though.

I think the 3DS version of the game is going to be a full and complete Smash game, capable of standing on its own, regardless of connectivity to the WiiU version.

I don't give a **** AT ALL about any of the FE characters we've had so far, and the only plausible FE newcomers that I would give a **** about would be Robin or Anna.

- I think releasing of Smash Bros on the 3DS before the WiiU version is a terrible idea, if not the worst thing they've could have done. There goes a ****-ton of potential WiiU sales.

- I REALLY hope ROB is cut from the roster. A failed peripheral that a lot of people would rather forget was and is a waste of a character space.

- The design for the Smash 4 Dojo is just awful. No organization or anything. What happened to the unique info posts that Brawl had?

- As much as I like how unique they made her, and will probably use as a secondary main, I think the Wii Fit Trainer was nowhere near deserving of a Smash Bros. spot.

- I'm pretty sure 75% of Takamaru supporters had no idea who he was until they saw the support thread on the forums. Speaking of which, don't expect him at all.

- I hope King K. Rool doesn't get added to the roster.

- I hope Meta Knight gets cut from the roster.

I like pic of the day because:

-It provides some of the best funny captions Smash has ever seen.

-It doesn't spoil everything (as quickly) and it is far less predictable. It leaves you wanting more. Yet it is informative. And big announcements are handled so casually. Filler, filler, Rosalina trying to look all cute, filler, filler, here's SONIC, filler for a long time, filler, reveal a boatload of info, filler, etc. Good things could easily be overlooked. Though I don't consider anything filler; I'm just glad to see the game and its progress.

-We get to see the Wii Fit Trainers train all of the characters. As soon as I figured out THAT was what Sakurai was doing with those seemingly useless pictures with them in it, it blew my mind. I had to go back and check. Very clever. Most of the pictures have a hidden meaning, too, that are often misinterpreted.

-It shows us how fun snapshots are going to be, and how to use them to their fullest potential. We might not get new pictures everyday we go online in-game again, so this is a brilliant substitute.

-It redirects you to the so bad this has to be trolling Mii-verse comments. That community generally doesn't get the point of... anything really. Or perhaps I'm not getting the point. Dear Lord.

There are WAY TOO MANY lightweight newcomers this time around.
--The Smash fanbase has a stupid bias against heavyweight characters solely on the basis that posterboys DK and Bowser ranged from mediocre to outright bad in their debut games. Whenever anyone critiques the lack of new heavyweights, someone will inevitably pipe up that "You already have these three or four veterans, that's enough!" or, usually on GameFAQs, that "We don't need any more useless fat characters." This is, of course, in spite of the average Smash character skewing way toward the lightweight end of the spectrum.

The funny thing is, every SSB game has had at least 1 heavy weight character that are rather high on the tier list, 64 has Falcon, Melee also has Falcon and a case could be made for Ganondorf and Samus, and Brawl has Snake and Wario.

Sure most characters in the top tier are mainly lightweights or average weight, but heavies aren't completely skewered to be horrible.

I can feel veins on my forehead inflamed from your opinions...the only one I agree with has to be the Smash 4 Dojo being awful. I mean, Nintendo has to have enough money to hire a decent webmaster!

I think the inclusion of Mii is actually a good idea.

Customizable movesets for them are a terrible idea though.
i actually like this idea, but what i have in mind for the mii is a generic mii and not your own mii. a mii of yourself would take away the playability of the actual video game characters. i know it sounds dumb, but the furthest thing from yourself, the better.

Sakurai did actually say you couldn't customize your outfits, so... it could just be preset costumes(one of Reggie is likely. >_>)

-I think Wii Fit Trainer is the best revealed character so far.
-I want Wolf to return.
-I think that customizable Mii movesets would be terrible, even though I'm all for Miis as playable characters.
-I don't think Mewtwo is coming back. (shoot me)

Some of my opinions:

-I want DLC to be paid. Honestly, that gives them a reason to do it.
-I think Marth should be the only Fire Emblem character. They've never interested me.
-I despise leaks with a burning passion. Yes, even the Palutena one.
-I'd prefer a lot of cuts occur and see many characters gone, ala reboot.
-I don't want anymore than one incarnation of a character.
-I can't care less about purple space dragons. Sorry, buddy.
-I'd like no Third Party Characters.

what they should do is make the more like they did in smash flash 2. if you haven't played that i highly recommend it, but DK in that game is a huge target, but is fairly fast(not speedy, mind you) and has medium attack speed with lots of power behind him. if you want to see what im talking about play SSF2, DK is ****ing fun as hell in that.

Third party characters should get two AT's each.

Megaman's AT should have been Protoman and Bass.
Electman should have been incorporated into Megaman's moveset.

Sonic's AT should be Tails and Knuckles.

Pacman's should be Klonoa and Lloyd Irving.

I don't think Miis will be playable.

By extension, I also don't believe the Sal leak.

I actually want R.O.B. to return. In fact, I would rather have him back then all of the veterans except for Ness and Captain Falcon

Mewtwo should not return, there are already enough representatives for the first gen of pokemon. I would still like to have Jiggs back, but I would prefer a different pokemon so that we are not overloaded with first gen pokemon- four from the first games and two from the five other series is just a terrible idea.

I don't want Jigglypuff back unless they change her up a fair bit. As far as Pokemon go, she's pretty damn boring, but that could change if they *really* incorporated the Fairy moves into her kit.

Also, I'd like for her to have a less dumb final smash. That goes for about half the cast, to be honest.

That's destroying the purpose of Miis themselves, they're supposed to be you.
