Humans look really weird if you think about it. How many animals walk and stand straight up without a tail for balance? How many grow a so much hair on the tops of our head but so little on their bodies? Why are our faces so flat compared to the rest of the animal kingdom?

Even our closest relatives look drastically different from us. A chimpanzee looks a lot like a gorilla, but neither of those look much like a human being.

On a related topic, have you ever noticed that, like, humans with animal features (gijinkas) are a thing, but, like, almost nobody does the reverse (giving specific human features, such as human ears, to animals?) One would think humans would be narcissistic enough to do that, but they don’t, so maybe humanity secretly thinks humans are ugly?
