Lots of people say Dr. Wily but I've literally never had a problem with that one. Granted I was using Metal Killer, which helped.

The former I managed to only win due to sheer luck of Peach killing herself and the Giga Mac resorted to me to putting the difficulty on Easy.

The double Metal R.O.B. one was also really hard. Another I had to resort to easy difficulty in order to even have a chance.

That or I'm just a total noob player...

What Olimar thing?

Olimar's Pikmin are affected much more by spirit power boosts than basically all other characters. Using a powerful spirit like Akuma or Tabuu on Olimar makes him kill most non-stamina enemies in one or two shots, and not much more than that for a stamina match.

It's some sort of internal oversight to how boosts are applied to Pikmin. A similar thing happened in Smash 4 where in All-Star mode, every opponent would do reduced damage and knockback since you needed to marathon it. That is, everyone...except Olimar with moves that used his Pikmin.
