Capybara Gaming , I would like to say that words like “cutie” or “sweetie” directed to me are things that I really need when I have to deal with bad stuff like the ones I had to dealt with during this week.

In hard moments like these, seeing someone talking to you in a kind, pacific and sweet way helps a lot. If it was me who had to decide, you would always be allowed to talk with me using words like those two.

Trust me, it makes me feel a bit better inside.

Everyone involved in the debacle needs to take a step back and chill. There was no malice either way.


As non-politically correct as I usually am, at the very least, people should be conscious about how they address others, this goes both ways.

I have a lot of respect for someone like Sabrina for doing what they're doing, but I think both sides need to just cool their heads.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Super Smash Bros. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical player's head. There's also Kirby's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realize that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Super Smash Bros. truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Kirby's existencial catchphrase "Poyo," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Masahiro Sakurai's genius unfolds itself on their CRTs. What fools... how I pity them. And yes by the way, I DO have a Smash tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 percentage points of my own (preferably higher) beforehand.
