Game Freak breaks their own game logic by not letting your Solgaleo or Lunala being preset with Nebby.

It's a nicknamed Pokemon, when you get it they're stuck with it. Can't they follow their own damn rules? :224:

Firega took out almost an entire health bar in KH3 with combo boosters on, and Sora just melts everything with the keyblade transformation from Ever After.

Magic in this game is not okay and I love it.

Did Lillie ever actually formally nickname Nebby? You don’t see it in the inventory or in battle, so you never see its actual name, correct me if I’m wrong. For all we know, she never actually nicknamed it but still vocally called it Nebby anyway.

Having a consistent time of week to hold arenas would be nice. I was kinda disappointed when I missed out on the one earlier this week.

We should probably have a poll or survey to determine the best time for them, though. Friday nights works for me, but I can't speak for other people.

Yeah, I did realize the irony of that as I typed it, as I did later become aware of how the Cell saga ends. But apparently that was an exception to the rule, and even up until the finale of DragonBall Super a year or two ago, the case is still that Goku's the only one who can ever save the day. Which, in a series with such a diverse and ecclectic cast of characters and powers, comes off as extremely wasteful.

I don't watch anime in the first place, though, so it's also just not entirely my cup of tea. Although I can't avoid hearing anime discussions, since they often come up in the same places as my video game interests, and from what I hear, My Hero Academia (the new hotness), Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, and Naruto are all more interesting in that instead of relying on power levels to determine victories, it's more about unique and crazy abilities with distinct strengths and weaknesses that need to be used cleverly in order to win. I think that's exponentially more interesting by comparison.
Naruto eventually slips into the same traps as Dragon Ball, it's only really about strategy in the first half. My Hero Academia feels like Naruto 2.0, it feels like it improves on everything Naruto initially set out to do.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is great for that kind of "clever strategy over brute strength" stuff, though moreso from Part 3 on when Stands are introduced (Parts 1 and 2 use a different power system which was more limited).

One Piece is a good series for that kind of "Power Levels are less important than the kind of power you have" thing; even though almost every arc boils down to the Main Character, Luffy, beating up the biggest threat, usually every other main cast member gets something to do, even if it's as simple as being the one who translates ancient texts so we can get backstory on the plot. The battles are more simple than something like JJBA, but they're usually very well integrated into the plot thematically.

Hunter X Hunter (the X is Silent, btw) is a very good strategy-based Battle Manga, especially after it's power system "Nen" is introduced,

KH3 is easily my new favorite in the series, but I will also admit it's probably the easiest lol. It's pretty easy to break things if you know what you're doing. Mage Sora is nuts in this game; I honestly can't stress that enough.

I mean, Sora has 40% resistance to every element right now because I've mixed the Ribbon with the Abas Chain. The game will gladly give you what you need to curb-stomp it if you go out of your way to collect stuff, which is awesome. I love it when games offer good rewards for their collectables.

Ivysaur's Up-Air hitbox is very patriotic:
Ivysaur's Up Air is Patriotic.png

They say that whenever an Ivysaur lands Up-Air, somewhere in Japan, Kimigayo plays.
