I still maintain that they HAD to make Corrin (and PP) really cool and interesting because otherwise nobody would have wanted them. It’s the worst reason to make the character cool. The character being cool should be their on top of them being popular.

Corrin is an awful FE character.

They are, however, a really cool Smash character. I used to main 'em back on Wii U; they were my third character, right next to Wario and Luigi. I'd probably keep them over Roy if cuts had to be made at some point in the future.
