I know people use Sakurai’s newcomer statement as a point against the Grinch leak but even if it was real, it would only still be the smallest newcomer line-up in Smash since there’s only about 10 not counting echoes.

Although, I’ll admit that 5 unique trailers in one Direct wouldn’t have been “slowing down” no matter how much I wanted it.

That makes sense. The only reason I ever bought into it was for Isaac and Shadow, both who got assisted, so I was slightly bummed, but I bounced back with Piranha Plant, an addition that I liked from the start.

Trust me, I wanted to believe it, due to the inclusion of the Chorus Kids. If you want a character in Smash, you're gonna find every possible bit of evidence, you can, relating to them, and use it in your favor. That's how the Chair Theory happened, and why there were (and still are) theories poping up every week regarding Geno and Banjo. Our brains likes to think that we win in the end, and will always try to prove it, even in some bizarre ways.

I have no interest in anything related to the character or that franchise I'm afraid, and no use trying to sway me. I'm very stubborn. At the same time, I'm actually kinda jealous. If only it was that easy to bring together a crew for my flagship... where sci-fi meets mythology, and justice is being delivered!
Kinda reminds me I need to figure out some good snapshots and learn some skills on rendering or something to improve production for Valentine's Day despite my distaste for the day.
