I'm nearly done with Smash Ultimate's challenges. I just need to play two online matches with the Smash Ultimate newcomers, and maybe the Mii fighters, and then I'll never have to touch the game's online mode.

Don't get me wrong, I love Ultimate, but playing against people who can flawlessly predict everything I'm going to do and perfectly counter it, being ganged up on to the extent that I have 78% damage in the first ten seconds of a match, and going up against people who do nothing but run away and spam projectiles or juggle me while I can't dodge or counter in any way is not my idea of "fun".

The only characters that I've enjoyed playing as online so far (again, not counting the Ultimate newcomers) are Bowser, Dedede, Bayonetta, and Snake; trying to complete two hundred matches is an incredibly dull and frustrating slog when every person I'm matched up against is infinitely better than me.

If you want to play REmake, RE0 or RE4 and you own any console other than a Switch, get it for that console instead. The Switch versions are overpriced for no reason.

Like, they're the same goddamn versions that were released for XB1, PS4, X360, PS3 and PC two years ago for $19.99. And even those "HD remasters" don't really do much different from the versions available on the Wii U marketplace, also for $19.99. Now they're $29.99 on the Switch despite no added features whatsoever. And unlike Revelations/Revelations 2, they didn't even bother to add motion controls to RE4, a feature that was present in the Wii version of the game.

I'm not buying them until there's a steep discount.

I'm just worried it'll set a precedent for Capcom to start releasing these "remasters" for $30 instead, since they'll know they can get away with it. Or worse, other companies too.

There's nothing to justify the 50% markup. And if people have other options, they've been able to purchase all three of these games for a $10 discount since 2015.

Hell, the Origins Collection (REmake/RE0) is $25 at Gamestop. That's both for cheaper than one on the Switch.

Major update on the Thanibomb Three Houses leak.

Today's Twitter update basically confirms the leak is true...and it's actually because of a question I asked lol. I asked if Thanibomb knew anything about Ferdinand, a character we knew literally nothing about beyond his name. Thanibomb said he had an intense one-sided rivalry with Edelgard.

His Twitter bio got released today. Lo and behold, he's hyper-competitive and seeks to be stronger than Edelgard.

Get hyped, folks.

This is still disappointing - if the price had been reasonable, then I would have likely gotten Resident Evil 4 (already have the Wii version, but if there enough differences in this version, it would be worth it), but now, I'll wait until it's half price, if I even get it at all.

I had trouble with getting into the RE1 remake due to the camera, so I don't think I'd get RE0 or RE1. Hopefully future ports aren't also overpriced - I'm hoping that the Switch will get Devil May Cry 3 (or 4 Special Edition) along with DMC1.
