Story mode and 3D World Game style sold me on Maker 2 after being very hesitant.

Still salty over no SMB2, but the amount of features they've added is massive. Did not expect that much content and love put into it.

While I think that everyone understands that insults created by @punished faygo are ironic given the context, however you must always remember that even in the guise of context it is important to understand how things can be viewed in the face of the public.

That said, be careful, faygo. Even if you explain the joke, you can still get in trouble for doing that. You don't want to be lost again.

You can basically build/play your own courses and do the pre-created courses and... that's pretty much it.

Honestly, since I pretty much have to buy Online to get the full experience, I'm kinda less inclined to buy it.

Okay, so I'm about to be a debbie downer on my favorite game of all time, Super Mario Maker 2:

New-old enemies where? SMB3 has gems like the Fire Snake, Fire Chomp, Spike, Spiny Cheep Cheep, Hot Feet, etc.

And we only got Boom Boom and the Angry Sun? That's like having a list of video games in the 90s and only choosing Shin Megami Tensei. Niche at best, Angry Sun is a meme.

If you buy more 2 or Switch games a year the vouchers are a good deal. If you only buy one Switch game a year then skip it.

It's a shame it's a "buy one get one 33% off deal" but I'll still be using it because it's better then nothing. Already planning on getting Three Houses anyway.

Id use it to buy FE:TH + AC , AC+DQB2 or DQB2 + FE:TH but i dont even have 99 bucks to even drop on it

I don't know about anyone else but whenever my parents fought it was never mature. Just a lot off huffing, yelling, and sarcastic "oh I'm sorry you're right I'm wrong about everything clearly I'm the bad guy" like a pair of children.

Apparenlty, there are some rumors/speculation of being a secret extra game style, like how 3D world is an extra game style, due to that part of the menu (extra game styleS) being plural, and a suspicious space next to 3D World.

Good direct overall. Mario Maker 2 is looking to be quite an improvement from the original in terms of the content it will provide. The 3D World design looks especially fun!

I'm surprised they didn't reveal anything about potential amiibo compatibilities though.

Okay, let me re-word this.

Not bringing back the Spike/Fire Snake were huge misses on their part, in my opinion. They have such a longer history with the series than a friggin Hop-Chop from 3D World. The only SMB3 enemies here are Boom Boom, who is warranted at best; the Angry Sun, who appears in like 2 levels in one game; and Fire Bro, who they needed. No SMW originating enemies made the cut, which is a TERRIBLE disappointment.

But besides that 9.9/10 game absolutely adore.

I think its possible given that like you say, it says "Extra Game Styles". Still, kinda hard to think about what could they add and if the styles are going to be independent of each other. If so, then there's possibility of stuff like SMB2.
